What is the best thing to get rid of house mice/rat

Im sitting here in our sofa with my laptop being busy doing mylotting when i felt something in my toes when i look at it i saw the mice trying to bite my toe and i almost throw out my laptop, I really hate to see mice in the house specially that they also ate the fried chicken i bought outside supposed to be for my lunch, when i open it coz i felt so hungry i saw that there's some scratches in it. and since im alone i know how it looks when i left it and the difference when i check it again unless im with someone here. I already used other rat killers like raccumin to poison them but i guess its not working, is there's anyone knows the best solution for house mice or rat coz im getting pissed off now.

A CAT. I used to have a mice too here at home and thankfully My neighbors Cat always visits to find food and eat my leftovers and sometimes catches a mouse for dessert!LOL Yesterday I saw it running coming from my house with a mouse on his mouth. I dont know how many is left inside my house and I hope that it is the last one.

Get a cat that will solve your problem!! We had a few mice and just used the traditional traps that you food a little food on. We used peanut butter on the traps they always go for it. The traps are cheap too.

We tried mouse trap with a bait. And it worked. Now they are afraid coming in our house. Just be careful not to step on the trap.
