France is the country I have been dreaming to go. Although I know about it is relatively small, but firmly believe it's suitable for a relaxing place. Many people go to France for the Eiffer Tower, Louvre Museum, Proverce etc. But these aren't the most attractive places for me. Where I prefer to go is the France countryside, those beauty really let me intoxicated, the mountains, the canyons, especially the endless vineyard.
Have you ever been to France? What's your feeling and could you give me some advice about travelling in France?

Yes I have been. I don't like the people. They are unfriendly, don't like foreigners, not very helpful and not willing to speak an other language as their own. The nature at some parts is still great so are the old castles but you can find that in other countries as well. So no need for me to go over there. I also don't think Paris is that great as everybody says it is. It's more old story/history. but if you want to know you should go over there, since people are different plus I don't know what you are used to in normal life. What might be interesting/new to you can be oridnary to me.

Thank you ,Wakeupkitty. You let me know a different France. What I worried the most is the language, as you say, maybe they are not willing to speak English.

No..I have not been to France before and I would like to go there someday..But I'm worried that they may not like me as i would enter their country as a foreigner..The language will be a barrier too..Although I would really like to visit the Eiffel tower and some other historical places there and the shopping venues/mall there...
I've only been to Hawaii and Las Vegas..It has been a long time since I've been out of Canada..It would be nice to go on any vacation...

There is no reason to worry if you are going to visit Paris ;) Of course there is a big chance to get in touch with the "typical french" who won't speak english and make you feel stupid, but there is a bigger chance that you meet quite nice people who speak english and are willing to help. After all... There are a lot of people travelling to Paris all the time and lots of foreigns visiting the city on a regular basis(only think about the fashion week)

France is the country next door to my home country. I used to live in Kent and my home was nearer the French coast than it was London the capital of my home country. I used to visit Northern France very often. I liked Calais, the places between Calais and Boulogne plus Paris. Yes, the French countryside is very beautiful and the beaches look lovely. I liked traveling on trains in France. The fastest train is called the TGV train. I learned how to speak French when I was at school.

Paris can be anything, but cheap... Perfumes have the same prices, but I figured out that they are better quality and you can find some limited editions in small shops ;) I recomand you the french pharmacies, they are really cute and you can find brilliant skin care for low prices

Yes, I have been to France. It is a lovely country. You should deffinetly give it a try. I think that for the first time you'd better visit a place which is popular for turists, like Paris or the french riviera(which is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen) in order to accomodate and then go and visit the countryside. You should deffinetly try going to a spa in France because they are the best and also do massive shopping in the pharmacies because they have amazing products for convenable prices, the skincare is fantastic! When speaking to the locals, don't get scared or feel stupid if they are a bit rude or cold, but you should know that they are proud of their country and expect that you know at least some basic french expressions. And ohhh the food is great, you are going to return home with some extra pounds.

I have never been there but in the movies it looks like an incredibly romantic place. A cousin og mine and her husband went there on their honeymoon. The wife could speak french so things were good for her but from what she said they are unfriendly and rude to people who do not know how to speak french.

I have friends from France and I know some French too. I have never been to France yet but I have learned a lot about France and although people say that the French do not speak English is not true. It is expected from a foreigner to speak a few words in French while they are in France. The French are very proud of their country, history, literature, etc and I do not find anything wrong if they are reluctant to speak English in the first place. What I have heard is that they will converse in English once they are greeted with a few French words. Also France is one of the most visited countries in the world and if they were not friendly how would the country have become such a favourite tourist destination?
