Who else is watching Dexter?

I've been watching since season 1 and I love this show! This season has been going on for quite some time now, but I don't want to give anything away for people who are reading this but are not yet at the point where I am. :)

I have watched few episodes of the latest season and I find it really exciting. I was a bit disappointed with Season six about Travis Marshall and Professor Gellar. For me, that is my least favourite season of Dexter. With this new season, Debra is already aware that Dexter is a cold blooded serial killer, that really makes the series more exciting.

I caught the first two episodes but after that I have not been able to continue to watch yet. It feels like this season has a lot of things going on with Dexter and Deb, the baby sitters geek boyfriend, LaGuerta re-investigating on the Bay Harbor Butcher case and the syndicate. This and next season will complete the final arc of the series.

I still haven't seen the new episode but read a recap, as I really wanted to know what happened after Deb walked in on Dexter. It is interesting how we sympathize with Dexter, he is a serial killer, yet we root for him not to get caught and be happy even if in his messed up world that means killing people. I really like watching the show but it still gets to me that we are rooting for the killer, that is all due to Michael C Hall though making Dexter scary and likeable at the same time.
