India lost the game all due to the fabulous batting from Rohit Sharma as well as the one over giving away 13 runs. Not to forget the Australian team who lost on purpose so that India doesn't qualify for the final. They just wanted to qualify which they did and never wanted India to qualify. As they know that India is the only team who can outplay them anytime in any conditions.

One of the most lousiest tournaments with confusing and unfair qualfying rules. Sa enter the field knowing that they are out of the tournament.Aus lose but happily walk into the semis.Pakistan win but are behind Aus. India win bot pak is inthe semis. This run rate business has killed all the joy.
when India was beating Pak so comfortably was there no one smart enough to warn the batsmen Kohli and Yuvi. They could have been told to finsh things in a hurry.
Bhogle in the TV commentary was frantic that India should finish the match in 16.4 overs to overhaul the Pakistani run rate but any statistician could have told that the net run rate would improve even more if India finished that match in 12 or 13 overs.
Australia was wise and when they were beating India, they showed urgency and finished the match in 14 overs but India in a similar position was caught napping. If India had thrashed Pak in 12 or 13 overs Pakistan would have been eliminated even after winning by 33 runs. How can professional teams be so careless. The team management and the coach in particular have to account for this negilgent attitude.

@rocking : ha ha ha... that seem to be an excuse.. if they could easily beat Aus why didn't they ? Why didn't they defeat SA with a big margin... You have to admit that Pakistan's bowling is exceptional.. I'm not a Pakistani.. but Pakistan will beat India if they meet again... India had to be more intelligent and be careful with the net run rates and all that to stay alive in the tournament despite of the winnings.. They didn't perform well..

One of your prediction did come correct India did not qualify for semis but India won the match thanks to poor batting by SA in the end. Why I say poor is that 2 sixes were hit and 2 clean bowled. All they needed was 2 runs in 2 balls. Any team will have achieved it comfortable only South Africa is the team which chokes like that.
