I am a big time reader. A year ago, I read these books by Dr. Joseph Murphy, that changed my life, my family, my marriage, and my busines. Even when I look in the mirror I see a brand new woman! I feel more at peace then I ever have in my life. I know who I am and why I am here, and what I am here to do.
Have you ever read a book that just made you see like throught new eyes?

The book is "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" by Josh McDowell. It turned my life around. I know that I would not be the believing person I am now if it were not for that book.
I am a Christian but that was not always the case. I struggled for many years trying to find the truth, and BAM!! This book hit me hard.
I will recommend it to anyone who doubts the resurrection.

The last book I read and really really like is Einstein's Dreams. Of course, we shouldn't take life for granted but it filled me with appreciation for those snippets of time when nothing is happening too. And I remember before that I finished Catch 22. And it filled me with such optimism that I contacted my teacher who recommended it 15 years before to thank her and to express my regrets for not reading it sooner.

"Raising a Modern Day Knight". Its a book about how men are being pushed aside by the feminist movement and how men need to stand up and take responsibility for raising their sons into manhood. Its not about macho or mean but using Gods plan for your life.

The last book that I have read that made me realize how lucky I am to be living my life is Paolo Coelho's Flowing Like a River. It is a collection of stories, anecdotes about the writer's experiences and reflection throughout the years and it is really helpful!

Great discussion! I love to know about those magical books that have the power to change lives. Mine would have to be The Four Agreements. I love it so much I've read it aloud to my husband and my three kids, and we have a list of The Four Agreements hanging on our fridge to remind us, daily, of their power.

OMG!! I just read this book and I must say... WOw!!! I just finished reading this book!! It really opened up my eyes, mind, and heart. Every book I read like this just brings me to another book that opens up my heart space for God to come in and change everything!
