And well I don't think it went so well. I hate to say it, but I think the interview sucked although I tried my best to make the interview really good and I tried to prepare myself in the best way I could. It just didn't turn out so great. If I were interviewing myself today, I would not hire me. But who knows, maybe I will get another phone call for a face to face interview. Maybe there were some points that she liked and decides to give me a shot. I really hope so. I'd really like to work for this company. I really want a better paying job and I want full time. I really know that I will enjoy this position if offered to me. So I'm just going to have to keep positive and hope to get a good report sometime tomorrow. Has anyone had a very bad interview and still got hired. Actually this job that I am working at now, I had a really bad interview and they called me back for another interview and then I was hired. I went through the whole process thinking that they would not hire me and yet they shocked me. So that gives me some hope about this job. I hope it works out great.

Why did it turn out bad? I hope you were able to answer all questions properly and politely. Some applicants sound arrogant or pretentious. I guess when you do your best and you are down-to-earth, the person on the other line will find you a good employee. Let's pray that you'll get a good report tomorrow. Cross your fingers. Happy mylotting. :)

Yes, don't lose hope. That's another experience for you. Do good in your next interview. You just have to research more about job interview's dos and don'ts. Goodluck.

I was able to answer most questions, some I could not honestly answer. So I said I don't have an answer for that Which I think that was bad in a way. I was very polite though. Unfortunately I didn't get a call, so I don't know what is going on, I'm just going to take it as a no and keep looking. Also the way how she closed the call kind of with an attitude, made me think that I didn't get it as well. Oh well all the more reason to do better for next interview.

You never know, it probably went better than you think. I hope they do call back and want to see you. There were only a couple of interviews that I went on in my life where I didn't get hired and I know why I didn't get hired for the one, I said the dumbest thing and I can't even believe that came out of my mouth. I knew when I walked out of there that I would not even get a call back for a second interview. I was so mad at myself, but a couple of days later I had a good laugh over it, I still can't believe I said what I said, still don't know where it came from.

I'm just worried that I may have said a few dumb things lol and there were 2 questions I couldn't answer because well I honestly felt positive about those questions. But you're right you never know, it could have gone better then I thought.

I know that feeling all too well. I can't think of a time where I thought they're never going to call me and they did.
ihave had an interview where I thought it went OK and got called gthat same day. On one of them, I was going at the bank depositing my unemployment check and in the middle of the process, my cell phone rang, it was the manager. He told me to come in Monday. I told the teller, I just got a job! 9 mnthes later I was let go. It was setting appointments for an estate planning company and my numbers were low. But it gave me another business reference and he told me when any company calls, he'll say nothing but good things about me. Still looking.

Hi Trisha,
I don't know what really transpired during your interview that made you feel that way about yourself but maybe instead of entertaining negative thoughts about the turn around of your interview, affirm yourself for doing a great job. Focus on the positive things you said during the interview. Good luck!

I think you are applying at a call center because call centers usually would like to hear you over the phone before they call you for a personal interview. If you don't pass the initial phone interview, then you wouldn't be given the chance to have a personal interview. That's what I know here in my place. So I am sure that next time you will be better prepared for any interview.

Yeah it was for a call center, it was for an alarm company. I don't think I got the job, the lady said she would call within 24 hours and I have not received a phone call yet. The way she closed the call too it just seemed like I wouldn't get a call.

I know that you are dissapointed with how you think the telephone went but I hope it went better then you thought. What kind of job are you applying for? Hopefully the next post will be telling us that you got the job :-)

I remember my phone interview was very tough I think face to face interview is good but phone interview is not good. I rejected on phone interview because they ask very hard questions and not give some time also...

Hi trisha! You don't know the result yet so you cannot say that it ain't went well. Just be positive. For as long as you are honest in answering the questions, there is nothing to worry about. I hope you get the job. Good luck and have a nice day!

Maybe you're just being too hard on yourself. If you did your best, then that's all that matters. I won't dwell over it though. Keep positive and pray that it will work out. If it doesn't work out, maybe it wasn't meant to be.

Yeah, that is how I am looking at it. I haven't received a call, so most likely it wasn't meant to be and I'm just going to move on and try to find something else. Just means something is better out there for me. I won't give up and I know I did the best I could and just try to do better next time.
