A girl I use to work with on nights at my last job came into my work now. She seem so upset so I asked what was wrong. Her 14 year old dog may be put down tomorrow, the vet was called and they are coming to look at the dog. I felt so bad, and I had to work, so my boss let me talk to her a little. I told her before she left she can texted or call me anytime to talk.

My heart goes out to her, it just so hard to lose a pet it rips your heart out.

The only thing in life that I can think of that is worse than losing a pet is to lose a human family member. It was just over a year ago that my first child, my twelve year old dog, Michela had to be put down. She had a really bad tumor on her face that wasn't treatable and she was also losing her capacities so it was the most humane decision to put her down. I cried about it for days because she was such an important part of my life. To this day I get upset when I see pictures of her.

hi Ricki oh that was so good of you and sometimes just to be'able to express her feelings can be so helpful in getting over the loss of one;s best friend, ones dogSshe has an ally she can now talk to who will not make fun of her or laugh at her.

Its sad but, when something got to go, it got to go. Its the same with us. We all know that someday we will go on to the other world too. So what is important is not how long we can live but, how well we have lived. Fulfilling life is still much better than a meaningless life.
