What is the main compelling reason why you married your wife? husband? Is it love, pity, infatuation, puppy love, other reasons. Drop a few lines, will you?

I got married a few months before graduation....it was because I gave birth to our son. Everything that happened wasn't planned. Both of us had plans to pursuing further studies after graduation. I'd like to think that the marriage was out of love and was not because it was something we had to do just to please our parents.

I am glad to know that the relationship end up in marriage. Are the parties currently happy?

We've had our ups and downs. And I'd like to think that we are okay.

Just think of positive things to flower the relationship. And when things seem to turn sour, just think of the almighty and your friends on whose shoulders you can lean on.

I married my husband because that time I can't imagine myself marrying any other man except him. It is a good thing that I still feel the same LOL I love him and wanted to spend my life with him. I don't think that marrying out of pity is a good reason to marry someone. Does this so called pity will last a lifetime because marriage is meant to last that long? Marriage is serious matter and should be given enough time to think about before going into it.

I agree with your philosophy about marriage. It isn't like a spoonful of hot rice that can be easily unswallowed.

Marriage is an institution. It should be made strong and unwavering for it's the rock, the foundation of a happy family.

Yes, that is really what marriage should be but we're aware that nowadays, people see marriage as disposable. You marry today and can get divorce next month. I am really sad about this. I hope more people will still see marriage as sacred as it used to be.

The first time it was because of the children. To give the relationship an other change. That did not work. I've been single after that for about 21 or 22 years and still happy I divorced. I did re-marry last year december because it was my husband his wish. Because it's important in the country/culture/society he lives in. To me it's not. It's adding nothing to my life. So I agreed since I did not loose anything either.

Your decision should be uppermost. What's important in a relation is happiness.

I married my husband 2.5 years ago because I love him and I still love him. We have grown in love it's increased over these past 2.5 years. I wouldn't have married any man if I didn't love that person at all.

Marriage should last happened what may. The ship of marriage could be buffeted by howling winds and mountain-like waves, but it won't give way as long as there's strong love, understanding and profound respect between and among those on board.

Think of the coming days ahead. Picture in your mind an old woman with nobody to care.

When I first saw my husband, I knew I had seen the man I would marry. He was the perfect height and build for me. He had a nice gait to his walk and very soft spoken. But above all, I just loved his eyes.

The man was so lucky to have you and you to have him as well. May love and happiness reign in your family.
