Ever since I've been pregnant I've so insecure. I never really was before about my body. But now I have stretch marks everywhere. On my stomach, sides, thighs, butt, boobs and I don't feel so great about myself. I went from a small B cup to a double D I just wish i could be my size again. Ive gained twenty pounds and im paler than pale im 7 months now so i have two months to go I know once i have my baby here i can regain my body back but if i never do thats okay to becuase she was worth it all. DO you have any body image problems?

To what I've heard, a pregnant women who wish to maintain her figure she is only allowed to gain 5 to 7 kilos in her entire pregnancy period. Because pregnant women get easily bloated so she need to check her weight every morning.

I have nothing to worry about body image but I have complaints on my skin, that needs medical intervention. Though I'm not that too fat, I still prefer to be less fat than before. Working out by exercising and eating less is what I do now. Thanks for reminding me about this for I will be going to my doctor for my regular checkup. Thanks

I think most of the mothers have experienced that, stretch marks, jiggly belly, extra pounds, pale appearances... these are all common but it's true that it is worth it, I couldn't be more happy with my children. Of course though, I would not want those things to stay with me, I hope I could lose weight soon and get back to normal(I just had a baby)

yes i do, I am not been mother yet but I am fat. I am trying to lose the tummy fat. it is what is making me look too fat I guess. Coming back to you, i think it is worth it when you will have the baby in your hand , you will forget about the marks. i know after birth you can lose the weight. Since you are not that fat naturally, you will get back to normal. My sister in law is skinny and she delivered 2 times and she is like 26. She is still slim now. so it all depends on your body and genes also. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Aw don't talk that way about yourself but I do believe if theres something you want to change make sure you change it for yourself dont do it for anyone but yourself if its going to make you happier I say thats most important. That's my hope that I will lose the weight but I won't put to much pressure on myself in the begnning becuase my newborn is my focus and Very true once I see her face nothing else will matter, atleast for that moment lol

I think there was always something we could improve about our body..Whether you are pregnant or not..Pregnancy weight gain is a normal part of the pregnancy process...Women think that just because you're eating for two people doesn't always mean that we need to eat a lot more than we should and i guess it all depends on choices.. What kind of food choices do we make? ARe we getting enough exercises? Right now, it's difficult to feel sexy especially when you have a growing baby inside you..I think it is still sexy to be pregnant because there's always something different about a woman when she's pregnant as opposed to non-pregnant women..They say that women tend to have a glow on them and you should embrace you're body for the way it is..You have a miracle growing inside and that's one of the best things your body can do..Your goal right now is to have a healthy baby.. As far as your stretch mark goes..You can apply a body butter on your body for your stretch marks ..i think it's a brand name called "Palmer's" or you can check out Thyme Maternity in your area and they will have something for stretch marks..Hope this helps..Congratulations on your pregnancy..

I hate they way my body look to...it is a common feeling in...But there is something you can do about the stretch marks...get a lotion with Vitamin E. or just get the Vitamin E oil and start rubbing that all over the areas you are having stretch marks..it will not always make them go away .. but it will fad them to were they are not noticed...

Diana, i was the exact same i now got 2 children and only just getting my body back slowly. i put on 20 kilos with each pregnancy and i think we think about our image because its alot to do with the pregnancy hormones i think that makes us feel like this. goodluck with your baby.

The heaviest I have become during pregnancy was 160lbs- that is 40 lbs heavier than my normal weight. And yes, coz of that I do have stretch marks that I wasn't able to get rid of. I had difficulties getting back to my old weight, but it is okay. I have accepted how I look. I do not have the money to undergo some medical procedures and so I have learned to love the way I am now.

You might be interested in this. It could help with the stretch marks. www.earthclinic.com/CURES/stretch_marks.html Walking is excellent exercise. When the baby is born you could take it for a walk every day, weather permitting. Also, eating 1 or 2 grapefruits every day and drinking plenty of water will help to lose weight after the baby is born. Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Good luck!

Im a guy so ive never had a baby. but i have had to deal with the reality that i wont be 16 forever and the body i had then wont ever come back. There are steps you can take to get back in shape, but chances are you wont ever be who you used to be, but thats not always a bad thing! society trains our brains to want to have the washboard abs and the so-called "perfect body" but the reality is perfect is what you make it. just be happy with yourself, and my advice to you is to try your best to be HEALTHY, because its not so important to be slim and sexy as it is to be healthy.
