This is an inspired discussion... Law says when 10 right thinking people..there is no surgery done or any other modern method used to confirm whether the right thinking people did indeed use the right parts of their brain, literally, or otherwise. So if 10 right thinking people think it is right, it is right.. or is it.. Do you think 10 right thinking people can go wrong and what you stand up for leaves you alone fighting your case? How often do you do that? How often have you been proved right after being left (by others)? Your call.. PS ..I dont know whether this would be a poll..:( So respond at your risk..

Ok use either side of the brain that is as good as the other and 10 or 11 makes no difference. More than that may put pressure and then of course we are bound to say yes.

Reminds of the favorite movie - 12 Angry Men! Personally, I never had the importance of finding 10 brains working on what I was so dont know much about this but yes, there have been times when others were wrong and me was right... but still then they all say I am a left brain person.

I wouldn't consider it a poll but who is to say what mylot might think. Do you mean people who use the right side of their brain versus the left? I imagine what I think is right either way, and to heck with what others might think!

I try to be an individual and think for myself as much as possible. I almost said I am not sure who Erin Berkovich is, but it makes me think of a movie, is that who you were referring to? I like to think myself more like Miss Congeniality movie! Stubborn and sure of oneself haha.. Left Side, Right Side... I think the thing is that those who use the left side MORE are artistic, those who use the right side more are logical.. but we use both sides, so I suppose there's no telling, right?

Yes..that movie..:) Miss congeniality had it easy..she had training, and her team mates were always hovering around to protect her..lol I didnt read that thing about Left side being more artistic.. :)

Law says 10 right thinking people..right.. Scientifically, our right side of brain controls left side, and vice versa left controls the right..I dont know how much of it is true, but I read it somewhere.. They have to use both sides...of their brains..right? But you got it...you do dare to go against the stream. How often did you get to play the role of Erin Berkovich in your real life..miniature EB..:) And did it have a satisfactory outcome?

Exactly. 10 years later, they come up with a new technique or new evidence that proves the person hanged didnt do it..what then? Do we hang all the judges and jury, and the public and press?

Definition of right-thinking people is highly subjective, hence the surety of some thing being right is too subjective. I go by my own convictions developed after doubting every little established so-called fact. Of course, I have never been considered right, but I don't care and keep on moving on my lone path..

Yes..I agree. So if a person says something is wrong, and I say yes it is, I am at the risk of being the right thinking person, even though I have not really thought things through.
