I am so tired of wasting my time with the surveys. I spend so much time answering questions to find out I don't qualify. I'm sticking to the Amazon Mechanical Turk working site... so far that has been good and I know what I'm qualified for so it's not wasting my time. Maybe I need more patience?! I just don't have the time for it to sit on the computer all day and need something reliable to work on for the 2 hours I day I have free.

A few months back I joined a survey site - PaidViewpoint - and every single day I receive a survey. Every day I qualify for it and my earnings are slowly adding up.
This is the first time that I have seen daily surveys that I can complete and that add to my balance too.

Is that site open to asian countries? I felt survey sites are more beneficial in many ways to people living in the US and European countries.

I've been doing surveys for about a year. At first I never qualified but I kept trying. Now I get a fair amount. I find I qualify better between 12 midnight and 6am. Last night I completed 4 and the night before I did 5. I've completed 2 so far today. I belong to 1 site that sends me 15-20 surveys a day and other survey sights that send me less. It's not a lot of money but in the past 5 months I've made over $200. I also do other stuff online for money. It's by no means a sustainable income. But it's money I wouldn't have had otherwise. And I have the time. One survey I did 2 months ago paid $4.75. Those are rare and I've never qualified for one before. But it does take patience. I also find that if I hold onto the emails for a day or two and then try I qualify more. There are certain ways to get the surveys. You sort of have to play them. I don't quite know how to explain it. I've heard mostly good things about MTurk. I'm thinking of trying it out.

Off hour is good because I think a lot of surveys are monitored. You know, somebody at the other end seeing exactly what you're typing. I've been kicked out in the middle before for saying something I really shouldn't have. ANd for going into a different screen to look up information to answer questions. So in the middle of the night I don't think there's anybody there. They're just so time consuming for such a small amount of money. Sigh. Thanks for commenting! I do appreciate it.

I am from india and has limited opportunities for survey invitation.Still i got paid from 'global test market','the panel station','valued opinions' and very near to my payout in 'survey head','test spin'.I was screened out for several times in various survey sites but now my success rate has increased significantly.Like miss diana ,i also joined 'paid view point' recently and nearing to 9000 trait score. My survey experience is so far so good and i am still enjoying it.

A person that can work other serious business online even don't need any survey to participate, because it is a waist of time for valuable things like flipping. When you fail to be honest a bit with them you must not be qualify for several surveys....I know by now that my survey account has reach up to 1000 unread messages due to the lack of interest and time wasted. Let it be completed to those who value it.

I used to do surveys, in fact I was doing surveys up until a few months ago. I did those surveys for several years and never made hardly anything. Every time I would sign up for a survey, it always said that I didn't qualify because I didn't fit a certain demographic. I was spending several hours a day doing surveys and wasting my time. I canceled every survey I was a member of. I'm like you, I don't have the time to spend on the computer all day. I have other things to do. What is Amazon Mechanical Turk?

I used to take surveys, but found that either I did not qualify, but they asked for information that I did no have on hand right away. For instance, for me to find out when I came to Canada and on what ship, I would have to either phone the government or look through my file cabinet. If they wanted to know about my insurance, whether it was term, how long for, I had to go and look up that information. I had no idea when I bought my first computer, how wide was my yard, etc. How old my house was, etc.

Thats to bad you dont qualify for most surveys and just sit wasting your time. I love survey sites that give you points just for attempting the survey. myview is like that. I earn more on survey sites then I do on mylot but mylot is more fun for me so I do mylot more and tend to slack off a lot of taking the paid surveys.

I started doing some surveys to try to get some money since I was not working back in 2009 but none of the ones I tried worked for me so I stoped doing surveys for few years. But after three years I want to find a way to get some extra money online when I get some time to use the computer but after 20 surveys only 3 have aproved me. I think I will also stop trying to get any money or credits doing surveys because on those 20 surveys I have wasted many hours that I coud have used doing something that might have more chances of earning something. Good luck and hope someday we will find the right site that will actually works for us.

I used to work the survey sites and gave up on them because I qualified for so few surveys that I never made enough money to get a payout. I know it might have been marginally better had I been in the US. I still found it to be a waste of time. The only places I've made money online was writing forum content for awhile and here on myLot. It isn't a lot of money but it is far more than I got for doing surveys.

I'm glad that Amazon mechanical turk is working out for you..I find that with a lot of survey site they get a lot of information from you only to find that you don't qualify for them..We don't have a lot time on our hands to do this all day..
Toluna Survey does to me all the time ..But it may work for others..i'm sure there are other good paying sites out there you just have to know your sources to find these things..
The one i really like is I-say...I'm more qualified with their surveys...You should try it out..

I'm glad Amazon Mechanical Turk is working out for you! The only survey site I ever had much success with was Opinion Outpost, but I make money far more quickly doing Mechanical Turk. Keep me updated on how it's going for you!

Kemak, nowadays i don't involve with any survey site anymore. I felt it is disappointing to do survey and in the end being informed that i am disqualify for that survey. I prefer nowadays to spend my time into this and the other sites. At least, i do earned some in return although they are not much. Have a happy weekend..

You're right in that the survey sites can be a waste of time sometimes just trying to qualify to take one. The paid task sites can be just as frustrating though. I think a lot of people that post tasks on those sites just make it a game to try and stump people.
I went to the Mechanical Turk site just to check it out and I decided to look at some of the tasks and I picked one at random that seemed easy enough to do. They wanted an email address for a business. I searched it online and found that the business no longer exists. It was sold to another business back in 2006, so it would be impossible to complete this task and the time researching it would be a complete waste.
Some of the tasks listed can take some time to complete and only pay a few cents. Congratulations if you are making money with it, but it looks like kind of a waste of time too.

I am also quit my surveying sites one by one.
For me, I hate those detail questions and the long waiting period for getting surveys.
For instance, my Globaltestmarket which I quit earlier, it took me about 18 months to reach my cash out at around $50.00 USD. I was there for more than 4 years.
Now, I feel good without troubling by those survey invitations and being demotivated because of my disqualification to participate certain surveys.
Honestly, I shall not join any survey site anymore.

I definitely agree that surveys are basically a waste of time, and time consuming. I hated qualifying by constantly lying on the survey, but I also hated that when I was being honest, 45 minutes into the survey and then bam! the whole "We're sorry, but you did not qualify for this survey. You can continue on to see if you if you qualify for the next one," pops up.
It constantly gets on my nerves and annoys me when I spend my time answer long questions, and yet don't get compensated. Now, I've moved on to doing short offers, and paid viewpoint (I partially don't recommend this site, because it takes 6 months to get your first payout). I would only do surveys like for once in a while or more like once in a blue moon. But I only do GPT sites now, no more purely just survey sites.
