What do you think about hacktivism? We all now this is their way of being 'heard', but it is not clear whether this act is right or wrong.
Lots of websites have already been hacked by the movement called Anonymous Philippines to show their protests against the Cyber Crime Prevention Act of 2012.
I want to know your perspective about this one. Thank you.

From my personal point of view, hacktivism is sometimes good, although many computer will be attack and privacy may be revealed. I think without hacktivism, many difficult codes can not be solved, and also many guilty persons will hide their secrects completely, so it is helpful to solve crimes. Besides that, hacktivism will promote the development of computer techniques. Anyway, I think hacktivism is necessary for our society.

Completely! You wouldn't enter people's home and just go through their stuff right? I had this stalker, that was so creepy. I didn't know he was one but he was indeed constantly talking about me and as he was a little close I think I didn't see it. I was best friends with HIS best friend and after 3 years we started dating and when he find out he hacked me to prove his best friend he shouldn't date me. To know I was hacked and he read and saw all my stuff was traumatic, weird, creepy, just so wrong. The only thing he could get was my ex mails and he pretended I was with him still, I just showed the boyfriend the dates of the letters...

I think it's wrong. It's the same as damaging someone else's property. This besides of the fact that in many cases not only the owner but also users (for example the sites of the bank) are harmed. I also don't see the use or fun of it. If you want to make a statement there are plenty of other options to do so.
