At this mid autumn festival, my boyfriend and I come back to his home. Much to my surprise that his mother bings me to a gold shop and want me to choose a jewelry for myself. At last I choose a diamond necklace, although it is not a very big diamond, I feel so happy and warm.
I put the diamond necklace in a beautiful box carefully.
What kind of present do you like? Please share.

I would like to receive a nice strand of pearl necklace one day..I don't have a genuine one so it'd be nice to get one..I already have two sets of pearl earrings one from my mom and other one i bought for myself over ten years ago..

Diamonds are a girl's best friend don't you know.
The only diamonds I possess are in my engagement ring. The main stone is actually a blue topaz and the 4 very small diamonds are at the sides (2 at each side) and the ring itself is made of white gold as yellow gold irritates my skin.
Hubby bought it without my knowledge and placed it on my finger on New Year's Eve 2005, in Las Vegas. A very special night as I had no idea what was coming!!
It's now on my right hand as it gets in the way of my wedding ring..but I wear it every day and it still sparkles like new...mainly due to the fact blue topaz is a more hard-wearing stone than diamond. Not everyone knows that lol.

that is so nice there, your boyfriend must have spent much money on that necklace. though you said you are allowed to pick one, he must have paid for it since it's a business. besides, it's a diamond, no need to compare it to a bigger diamond? you are lucky to have that kind of diamond not every woman in the world gets a diamond neckless for them to brag about.
