I've just heard on the news that even children can have cancer. It's so sad that even them can be positive in cancer. Even innocent angels can be affected by cancer. Cancer doesnt choose to who attack. So sad and hope their will be medicine that totally cure cancer.

I lost a grandson to cancer 10 years ago. If he were alive, he`d be 18 years old now. Yet he did not live to be 8. He was a lovely child and very brave throughout all the months he was ill. We must all help raise funds so that research is done to help more people get cured.

I don`t know any international organization that helps cnacer patients, but maybe you can find that at the web. There are national foundations in my country and I am sure there are many such foundations in several countries. Lately, in my country, there is help from the government so that people can be treated in spite of the high cost of the medicines.

I've known throughout my life that cancer is something that children can be subjected to. You see, when I was a little girl, my cousin that is closest in age to myself was diagnosed with Wilm's tumor when she was 18 months old so I grew up knowing about cancer. Then when I was in high school, I helped teach Sunday school at my church and we had a student in our class that had osteosarcoma (a bone cancer). Jarrett had lost one of his legs to cancer, but he had the most sunny outlook on life, he really was an inspiration to me. Unfortunately, Jarrett did pass away as a result of his cancer when he was fourteen years old.

It is sad that this is true. Some are even born with it at that early. I think that is such a phenomenon that this disease is still incurable since time immemorial. It is everyone's wish that someone have discovered something that can finally solve this disease. I am hearing the stem cell technology is promising as they discovered that some cancer cell came from stem cells. I hope this can finally see how cancers are developed and we can finally know our enemy and defeat it soon.

Cancer is a devastating illness that does not discriminate between a child or an adult. It is hard to see a child going through so much pain.
