I suddenly lost interest....

It's not my first time, though. I admit that there were times I feel like coming back and being as active as before but there were just too many things I had to focus more on that coming back here was so far down below in the list. Well, at least it is still in the list, right? I am now back and giving it a shot one more time. Like many, this is not the first time, and I do believe that I will be active here again. I hope so. I missed being here, joining discussions, contributing, and all that. Anyway, I guess I'll be checking back at my discussions first and try to continue some of the things I left unanswered. I am not sure if anybody cares, but I hope those that still do would still be happy to participate and contribute. For those that know what I am talking about and/or have experienced this, maybe you could share some insights on this, your experiences, reasons, etc. and for those who feel like their enthusiasm here is fading away, why is that?

There are times i loose intrest here on mylot and its hard to stay active on here at times. Right now im staying active because i would like to get the payout for next month i feel i have been working towards the payout on mylot for a while now. I cant stay on ehre for a long time during the day because im at work and when i get home i dont even want to sit in front of the computer and do this. Im trying to get the most in my paypal account right now to get a christmas gift through ebay as it will help me out on not having to use my money in my bank account to buy presents. Im trying to do at least 20 responses a day but not 7 days a week so thats hard i might get in 3 or 4 days a week but not sure if that is going to help me out in the end on getting the payour or not. I really need to stay more active on ehre.

It is really a good thing to be goal-oriented and really focused on something. It makes all the efforts really worth it. Like many, the payout here is really something to look forward to. It is not a huge amount but it helps. As for now, I have plans for the money I make here and I hope I could achieve that amount, so I guess that will hold me to do more and stay a lot here, again. Well, I guess we'll be seeing each other a lot here, too.

I have been a member of Mylot since 2010. I have just stayed for sometime. I think I was not sure if Mylot was legit or not and also, I have gotten busy with work. But just this June, I decided to log back in and tried joining several discussions. Then also i found out that Mylot is a stable site. And so I have decided that instead of wasting my time on other sites, might as well stay here and learn new things, meet new friends and still earn a little.

This is actually the point I am trying to explain to many of the people I have invited here. I told them that this site is stable and not a scam, you get to learn many new things here, and you enjoy instead of wasting time online on something else, right? I guess it's hard to let them see how I see it but maybe if they just have enough patience and courage to try participating more, they would find out what I truly wanted them to. Anyway, it's nice to know that you did and I hope to be seeing more of you around here. Thank you!

Hi, There are times when writing is just not our kind of thing and we have to focus on other things as well. I am here not for the money but the opportunity to hone my skills and I may say I have gone a good distance towards that goal. Sometimes we feel too burdened with other concerns that being here may add up and we forget the real reason for being here: to hear and to be heard.

Hello, Well, it's nice to know that you are here for the opportunity to learn and develop your skills. I wish you good luck on all your endeavors here and hope to see you more. Anyway, I guess it just happens to everybody, losing interest or shifting focus to something else. I'm just happy now that I am back and once again a bit excited to rejoin the mylot community.

There are ways to entertain ourselves, that's really a given but for me, I think it was not just boredom but the fact that I have lost focus on a goal I have set here. I could have been distracted or just really lost interest. But, I'm back so I'm just happy for that and I guess we'll have to see for how long this time.

Well i can understand that u have many more priorities outside Mylot due to which u are not able to spare much time over here and may be that is the reason that u are no more enjoying being active over here. I suppose this happens with everyone at some point of time when we loose our interest in something that we were once fond of because of lots of priorities and commitments outside that work. It is pretty normal and i hope u will get back that old love and charm for this site and enjoy this awesome site equally as u used to enjoy some days back. What say?

Well, I do have priorities issue, but I think it was more than that. Normally, I would find time to visit this site and contribute something, but a while back I felt like I lost the urge to do it anymore. Now, I believe I am giving it a shot again and I really hope I'm going to do fine. I'll be seeing you around then, I hope. Thank you!

Mylot means different things to different people. Currently, I am looking at it as pennies for my thoughts. I have been back and forth, and I am back after five years. When I cut myself off from mylot is was due to a change in my lifestyle. A change that was not for the better. I needed to work a lot and was not getting much for it. I could barely afford my internet and phone bill. I really feel that mylot is a good outlet for me right now. I express myself, and I am reminded that people are entitled to their opinions. I share mine when I can, but I do feel some people are put in the discussion "spotlight" more than others. I try to keep an eye out for what my "friends" are saying. Lately, I have not been the most interested either.

I am happy to know that you are appreciating this site and actively involve yourself to express things and learn as well. This just makes it more clear that this community is growing with people who not only care to earn but to express, learn, and mingle. I hope that you continue participating in activities and discussions here and contribute more.

I too have left and come back just recently. I think the longest I was gone from this site was a year because I just got so busy and kinda forgot about it and I wasn't very active back then anyways. I just came back a few months ago and have been more active recently. But now I'm not finding any discussions to respond to that interests me they all seem a bore. So I been thinking of just coming here less then what I have been and if I see something worth responding to then I will. I am usually on here throughout the day responding to 15-20 discussions but the last few days I haven't been able to meet that criteria because there's nothing to respond too. I hope you enjoy you're stay here again and find some discussions worth responding too and being able to help others out again, good luck.

I guess there are just times when nothing really interesting is on here. It does happen and it happens often so I think we just have to make with whatever we can. Anyway, it's nice to know that you are also actively participating once again, which mean you could contribute into making this community a little more interesting.

I can't really blame you because like I said there are just reasons that keep us away from something, but I am happy that you are back just as I am with myself. It just shows that this place is a good place, and I do agree with you on the fact that there are a lot of interesting people here, with their own interesting ideas. So, I hope to be seeing you around more often then, eh?

Maybe it isn't so much that you lost interest, but that you got a little burned out? It seems when we first get into it, we spend a lot of time reading and posting and have a hard time stepping away from the computer. After that wears off we can get back to spending time doing other things.

It is the case for me most of the time but there just came a time that I was just no longer interested and almost just didn't care at all. Fortunately, I'm slowly picking things up again and hopefully go forward with it.

I myself had sort of taken a 3-month hiatus from myLot and had just recently came back. I had to refocus on my earning endeavors. Although we earn here, it's not really what we'd consider significant amounts. I felt that myLot took a huge chunk of my time. Don't get me wrong, I love reading and participating in the discussions here. And there lies the problem. My enjoyment somewhat made me veer off course from my financial priorities. Well, add to that the fact that my job got so hectic as well. Anyways, I'm back also and hopefully trying to pick up from where I left off

I believe that you have a very good point in your statement where you mentioned that because of enjoyment the focus to earn had somehow been redirected, and I think that that is probably what has happened to me as well. Anyway, it's nice to hear that you are back and I'm happy that there are still many who love to share their opinion and time here.

choybel: 1) It may be due to repetition of work. 2) you think earnings are not good 3) due to planet changes your interest changes -- astrology 4) just like that a change. enjoy, relax. dont bother. let others contribute. you can come in afterwards.

What makes people think that they have to always be active on myLot? If you get bored, just leave, do something else, and go back later.

I don't think there's something that makes them think they should be always in mylot, but I guess there are factors that can motivate one to do so, mainly earning.

That answers things. People will eventually get bored with recurrence activities. Then you don't need to worry much about it. Maybe you can earn via another way while you get bored with myLot..

I have been super busy lately and unable to be around as much as I would like too. I always think of my friends here but there have been days when I have just not been able to be on. I think that most everyone understands when we have to be away a while. I am a bit discouraged with my notifications not working but I am trying to change my routine to adjust.

I just started being active here at mylot...like two days ago. At first I was excited to be at this site and do tasks and all, but then it all suddenly started to get less interesting for some reason. It was like every time I tried to log on to this site it was a burden to even try to respond to discussions or do tasks or anything. I guess there were too many things going on with my life to try to be active at my lot. But then I started giving it a try, again and I think I'm going to try and stick to it for a while. I kind of missed being here.

You can always come back when you feel like it. It's no use forcing yourself here, that would just make it less enjoyable and more stressful. The best thing to probably do is to just make short frequent visits here. it will add up and then eventually maybe you'll get the kick of it and then go hyper.

I feel the same way sometimes. That's why I usally get a day off or two to these online sites and do something other than this. It's really human nature that we got bored to something after we spend too many hours, that's why I do it in small, frequent times here. It really works for me. Lets stay here and enjoy. Strive to be happy, that's my everyday goal. Thanks

It's a good way to it. I normally just watch T.V. series I have downloaded when I feel burnt out here and then come back when I think I am refreshed. I believe coming back here in small frequent times really works, too. Being happy is also one good way to maintain focus and achieve something, because unless you are happy with what you are doing, you can never really be satisfied and have a nice job done, right? So, anyway, thank you for sharing this and, yes, let's strive to be happy. See you around, then.

maybe we should face the truth... we have lots of other responsibilities in life that we cannot afford to just sit down and spend time here... especially if you are working. Just like me, I open mylot everyday but just minimize the window. If I have the time, I peep and check and make comments if given enough chance. But just like 2 or 3 weeks ago I think, I needed to spend time for our audit so I rarely or even haven't been active here for more than a week. But since I like to be here, I'm back again in business I hope if you will not be busy, you will still return to interact with us and other mylotters again.

It is true, and as I have said, there are just times that there are more important things to focus on. Well, it is not a sin nor a crime to set mylot aside for awhile but it is nice to know that a lot of this people, us, come back and stay actively involved here despite all, right?
