Adding bling to shoes

Hi! Has anyone ever taken a pair od shoes and just added some bling to them; rhinestones you can get at a arts and crafts store? I have two pairs of shoes which are almost identical (navy blue and black) and I'd still like the ability to wear one of them on interviews. The other pair, I'd like to add a little bling to them so I don't accidentally take the wrong ones. So how do you add bling to leather without spending huge amounts of time and any patterns that you would recommend? Thanks!

I like to add some bling with my things. I have done it with my sandals- I use glue stick to attached rhinestones, beads and other accessories. Same thing with my dress, I will buy a plain dress and sew some beads on it.

Hi and thanks for getting back to me! I do have some glue sticks and just wondered how long it would take. Also what sites for some pattern ideas would you suggest? Thanks again and have a great day! Sarah

if they were ballet flats, you could check out thrift stores for some old clip on earrings which you could clip to your shoes and that would add some bling for sure!
