That's what a friend of mine put on their Facebook page. Really? I guess if the debate was about who could say uh the most times he won. Do Democrats really believe Obama won the debate? Are they that dillusional?
It was very obvious that Romney wiped the floor with Obama. Towards the end Obama kind of woke up some, but it wasn't enough. Romney does need to come up with some specifics about his plans by the next debate. Of course,Obama had some specifics in the last elections debates and they turned out to mostly be lies.
Let's hope that this debate will wake up some Dems to the real Obama. Without a teleprompter,he just doesn't have that much to say.

I'm a supporter of Obama myself but I do agree with you. Nobody can really say that Obama won that debate, Romney did come out top but as you said also, there weren't really any specifics just a load of facts and figures but nothing specific to do with his plan for the country. In my opinion he was just well prepared for anything Obama would throw at it and showed everyone how well you can do being prepared. I still don't see him as president though, there are just too many things he says that I don't agree with.

Let's see what the polls do this next week. That will tell who won the debate.
CNN panel had many of the people in the panel switch their vote to Romney after the debate. This kind of activity shows the real winner.
All of the media is announcing Romney the winner, How can your buddy say that?

Agreed in entirety! Of course, today the O is spinning like crazy trying to prove he was the better debater, and it will definitely cause him a few problems. I was actually surprised at Romney's performance-- he didn't take the tack I would have in a few areas, but he was actually quite focused and did a good job overall. The big looser was the moderator-- The PBS/ big bird comment was priceless.
I also noted that the O was complaining to the media earlier that his advisers were making him "do his homework"-- he did a lousy job. Liberals are no more delusional than conservatives, in actuality. But liberal delusions are often far more dangerous and damaging to the economy and the country as a whole than conservative delusions-- that's why we notice them more. But even the most liberal supporters the O has are worried today-- thanks to Mitt. I can't wait to watch Ryan vs. Biden-- Ryan is one heck of a speaker.
Unfortunately, all the winning debates in the world may not change the outcome--- over half the U.S. has decided that even though the O is a lousy president, they'll vote for him again anyway-- what I call the 40 acres and a mule people. It is so reminiscent of the voting issue post civil war during reconstruction, with the exception that the payment to the voters is given out monthly rather than in a lump sum. He who controls the money controls the enterprise, whatever that enterprise may be-- and the O controls the money. Not good news for Mitt, or the American people as a whole, but the unfortunate truth. We can only hope their are enough unbought people in the swing states to make a difference.
I'll bet the guys at MSNBC will find a way to prove the O won the debate-- they live in his pockets over there. But believe me, your friend is not the only person who sincerely believes the O won-- it's all over the web this morning.

No offence Forever_The_Lamb I listen to the debate and it is clear that Romney won the debate hands down. Regardless what the talking heads say. Any fair minded person would agree with that observation. I'm an Obama supporter, but I have to be honest with myself, last night Obama STUNK!!!

Romney won this one. Obama did not seem to be interested. Of course, almost nothing Romney said was true, so it won't help him in the election. He spouted lies all night, denied that he said the things that he said, denied the math for some of the stuff he has proposed, and on and on. Never heard of saving on taxes by sending jobs overseas? That was not a misunderstanding; it was an outright lie. He has done it himself. Will it help him get closer to winning an election in which he is trailing by a little more every time a poll is taken? Not likely. Bookies still have the likelihood Obama will win at about 87%.
But to say Obama won that debate is just nuts. He was barely there.

The sad thing is that Obama has done nothing but lie for 3 1/2 years and he might get re-elected.

Romney said during the debate that people with pre-existing conditions are covered under his plan. They are not, and his campaign admitted that the day after the debate. One of many, many lies he told. In fact, every word he uttered was a lie, including "a" and "the".

The news I heard said it was Romney who won that debate. But if Obama's camp is claiming he won then we can't really stop them. That is expected. No one between these two candidates would ever admit losing over the other in any debate. At any rate, it is not who won the debate but who would win the election which is the ultimate question. Whoever wins in the election will have the last laugh. Even if you won all debates but lose the election then what? Those wins would be useless. In the end the people are the ones who will decide. I hope and pray that the best candidate wins this one.

Poll taken among Republican supporters shown that Mit won the debate, but poll taken among Democratic party supporters shown that Obama won the first round. It is no doubt poll taken on all American public the next day after the debate, the result shown that USA and all Americans remain lost.

To the diehards, their candidate won the debate. Romney hadn't "wiped the floor", but he did win. Only the fringe right wing thinks Obama lied so we're not surprised. Both Obama and Romney went over their required times although Obama did it more. Yet, unlike the rules, Romney was always the last to speak until the last topic. President Obama should have stood up and not stood for Romney going last when Obama was supposed to. Obama knows how to debate. He let Romney come out and show how he flip flops. He is against Romney(I mean)Obamacare but now will keep some of Obamacare. He will only offer vouchers to the 55 and under on Medicare. Romney the fish is showing his vulnerabilities.

I saw a poll on the news area of a financial site that gives financial information like the stock indexes and has "experts" who write articles about finances, etc. The poll results were 73.8% to 26.2% in favor of Romney having won the debate. The Democrats are spewing all kinds of stuff as damage control but they are just covering for a poor job by Obama and the fact that he has done so badly. Romney gave some specifics and he said what his goals were but was realistic enough to say that he would have to work with Congress on the specifics like he had to work on similar things when he was Governor of Mass.
