I suffer from bad hives after eating sometimes or if my body temperature goes up. Does anyone else suffer from this? And what helps soothe the itching? Its driving me mad.

I have a pervasive allergy, which means an allergy you can't avoid and have a life. I'm allergic to some plastics. If I'm flaring, I get hives. Cornstarch, cortisone, washing and prescriptions all have helped me at times.

Try to find out what kind of food or drinks makes it worse. Keep your body temp as steady as possible. Take plenty of rest, live a regualar life. Ask a doctor something against the itching (though many meds or tricks and tips might not help at all it all depends on the person, the place etc). Antihistamine can help although it depends on how extreme it is. I have had periods it always started as I went into bed. That it came earlier, as soon as I sat down. After that it already started in the morning. At a certain point it disappears (don't ask me why) also. I don't know what the reason is, guess it has to do with my immunesystem, the winter comming up, and this all in combination with food or ... Since I already feel itchy my whole life I tried out all kind of tricks and there are also periods now I can ignore it (as long as I don't start scratching).
