They confess, what's next?

Hi Mylotters. How would you deal with a situation whereby your partner confesses to knowlingly entertaining a counterpart in his/her home; soon after you left their home en route to yours?

That had to be planned. Does it make you less trusting now? Does it make you wonder how many other times this might have happend? Have you discussed it? I think it is going to put alot of strain on your relationship. Did your partner try to hurry you out the door? I think my feelings would be hurt. It takes a big person to forgive something like that. It would always be in the back of my mind how long this has been going on. Do you know the other person? If you think it is unacceptable behavior, then you already know the answer. Alot of people are able to forgive their partner for things, myself, I'm not quick to forgive. I wish you luck with whatever you decide.

That revelation prompted a hard, long, ferocious discussion, which took a while to be resolved. Clearly, that behavior was unacceptable, and the resolution was forcefully delivered. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Traycee.
