Everything changes in course of time. Although not every changes is liked or accepted by all of us, some things are bound to be changed and replaced by others. Such a change is increasing popularity of e-books though it hasn't been threatened or decreased the demand of paperback books, it will soon. It would be nice to know about your opinion on this :)

well it depends . I dont prefer ebooks , but i have to use it now adays , as these are very cheap comparing to the paper books . When you have to control you finance , you have to give up many good things which you like , just like paper back.

Hmmn.. WE all have our own opinion.. ^^ For me, I'll choose E-books than culture books. Why? I have four reasons, for starters, you can bring a lot of E-books with you just by saving it to a memory card or laptop while it would be a hassle bringing THE BOOKS ^^. Secondly, culture books can be damage and then have no use while E-books can be restored. It is also way much affordable, you can just access it over the net while for culture books? hayz, some would be very hard to find. But well,, sometimes reading in a culture books add's up meaning (spirit) or what ever you may call it, ^^. So I guess...

I sometimes think about a science fiction story that I read in 1980's. In that story some children visited a historical museum and one of the objects in the exhibtion was a paperback book. At that time I laughed at the story, but today e-books have become a reality. I still prefer paperback books. I already spend many hours online and it nice to take a break from computers and a read an oldfashioned paperback. That way my eyes are able to relax for a while. On the other hand there is no doubt that there are also advantages about the e-books. I think that one of the best things about the e-books is the fact that they much, much easier to carry than a big pile of paperbacks and they take up less space.

i prefer paper books compared to electronic even though i am dyslexic. the culture is there and more meaning full when it can be read physically by turning the page. a person can go back and forth from placing it on the book shelf and returning a couplr months later and find it again instead of deleting it and not know its where abouts or referencing it again, then it is forgotten about. also i have asperger's syndrome which makes it harder to read books electronically.

I love reading. I don't like to be idle just staring to my surroundings nor thinking. I want to keep my mind busy that is why I usually bring a book when I go out of the house. Luckily, there is ebboks now. My bag won't be that bulky anymore. You can upload more that one book in ebook.
But, number one to my list is still the paperback because my eye hurts when I spend more time in reading ebook.
