I mean, this is a good thing. I joined myLot three weeks ago, but it seems longer somehow, as if I've been here forever! I guess it's because I come here almost everyday. Plus, people here chat with you as if they've known you for years! I like that, it's makes me/newbies feel welcome and not shy to participate more. So cheers :)

It is interesting to hear that you feel at home, when you are here on mylot. 
It is true that friends here make you feel comfortable (even if you are a newbie) and you could share anything with them as they know you for a pretty long time.

Hi back *waves* Your baby is cute. I've been meaning to say that every time I see your profile pic but I always forgot,lol!
Anyway. You're right. I do feel at home here. There are other chat sites where the posters form their own exclusive groups and won't interact much with others. But this is one of the friendly sites, and I (the other newbies too, I'm sure) appreciate the generally welcoming and responsive nature of other posters here :) All the best to you as well.

Mylot does tend to have that effect because if you become involved in a few discussions then you remain for more than a fleeting visit. With visiting Mylot on a regular basis it soon becomes a habit and gives the impression that you have used the site for much longer.
I am pleased that you are enjoying the site, which is what this place is really for.

TQ, and I agree. Sometimes I tell myself I can only stay for half an hour to catch up and post responses, but then I get drawn into other discussions which interest me and I just have to become involved. I do enjoy it here, or I'd have left the first week! I've done that before where the promise of money was overshadowed by the lack of warmth, realness and interaction in those certain sites.
