Hi guys, i wonder if there's globe postpaid user here coz i applied for one and it was approved and im so excited coz they said that they will going to deliver the phone by Monday already though the plan is somehow expensive coz its for 1799 a month.
Somehow my sister in law told me that she used to have friend with globe postpaid phone and wasn't able to pay at least 4 months due to she lost her job and the line was cut then when she applied for NBI clearance it says there that she have a case from something and then she have it check at NBI they told her that its from globe so she was forced to pay the amount just to cleared her clearance. Its like "really?" they can really do that to NBI and not even credit card with people who had huge unpaid balances wasn't able to have that problem with NBI.
Now i have a second thought if its true or not coz if its true then we can't tell what will happened in the future since the plan is somehow expensive and and its locked for 24 months.
Do i need to refused it or accept it. Help me decide guys.. Thank you

I do not know if that is true indeed. I have my postpaid as well but seldom do I pay late on it so I can never vouch the claim of your friend that it reached the NBI.
I know that cases when filed to court is when the case is worst meaning the person is not communicating with the debtor to talk or negotiate with them. Once the case is elevated and is about to be heard in the court then that time NBI will get noticed about this and for sure will be tagged under his name.

If you are worrying about lawyers running after you then why not choose prepaid pland over postpaid. The only consequence you can get for not loading your sim after the load is exhausted is that it gets disconnected by them and you will need to buy a new sim for that one.
This way you can better manage your budget for the phone as compared to postpaid where you have to pay monthly dues whether you use it or not.

Been a globe subscriber for years courtesy of my company. It's only 500 and you have unli calls to all globe and TM subscribers plus 200 worth of free SMS. The plan is OK, the only let down which I noticed just recently is they charge you right away to calls made to a land line number even if it's just a missed call.

Wow your lucky with your company to have a free globe postpaid paid by them. Though i guess they are very strict in charging the account so o wonder if they will add somerthing to mine when i have my first bill and i might be surprised to see it. Hopefully theres no extra charges coz my plan is already expensive.

I am not a Globe subscriber, but I have been a Smart subscriber for the last 12 years. And, my plan is a very minimal 500 so it's very manageable. You have a huge plan. Although I guess you need that plan, that's why you applied for it. I have not heard that Globe does that. But, does your sister receive demands from Globe for her to pay her bills? There was a time that I also could not pay for my bill for several months, but what I know is that my plan was deactivated during that time and was activated only when I started paying again. I received monthly billings but I don't really know if they had worked out a case against me.

Its her friend who had the problem with them though im not sure if its because of globe or that the person have the same name as that's why it say there's a hit. Though when i tried to search online it doesn't say any but they only cut your line and will be black listed to the network and will be reported to the credit bureau here in the Philippines. And though we already credit bureau here though not somehow strict as what in other country like in the US.

Hello homeshoppers! I don't think that is true. But if that happens to your sis in law, now I wonder. In my knowledge, even if you didn't pay for how many months, Globe or other network subscribers can't post that kind of record -- yet. Why, Because, globe didn't sue her yet. Even if the company will sue her, it will not appear on courts record nor NBI because it will take years before that will happen -- if it will pursue. In my short knowledge of law, INCASE Globe will sue a subscriber, it will only fall under collection of sum of money case and it is only a civil case. And again, it will not appear in public records for it will take years to do that.
That is only what I think base on some of my knowledge and experience.
Ohh, I would like to add (I hope its not out of topic and since we're talking about subscriptions here), that I am a new subscriber of Sun Cellular. =) I had just gotten my phone yesterday (oct 10, 2012). I got the plan 999 with 3 phones.

Yes i guess your right though i was also told that nbi only recorded crimal case though theres no one go to jail because of debt unless you issue a bounce check hehe. Good thing i dont have check. I also like sun network as its much cheaper but i cant use it in our province since only globe have signal in our area so all of my family there using globe so i can call them anytime due to unlimited call and text services
