I recently watched a horror film called 'saw' and it really scared me. Some of the scenes were very disturbing given that it was my first time to see it. I've made my mind not to watch any horror movies again. What's the latest movie you've seen on this genre and how was the experience?

The last horror film that I've watched would be Insiduous. And it is really scary and will scare the hell out of you. Some scenes will just surprise you and leave you holding your breath!

Otis, i like watching horror movies, mostly with my family. Sometimes, i do watch alone during day time. Even most of the time, my family prefer to watch horror movies during day time. At least, we don't have to dream about those scary moment during at night. Nowadays, i never allow my child to watch scary movie since he always like to have bad dream after that. Sometimes, it makes him wakes-up middle of the night complaining his bad dreams. That's really annoying me since my sleep was being disturbed.

No, I do not watch horror movies. I don't want to see anything that disturbing. I don't mind movies that are suspenseful or mild thrillers, but the subject matter of horror movies celebrates all that is dark and wrong in the world and that doesn't appeal to me.

My favorite movie genre is horror and the last horror movie I saw was The Ward. It's about this girl who was sent to a mental hospital and was haunted by a ghost in the hospital. The ending was unexpected. I wouldn't tell you how the movie ends because it will spoil your experience watching the movie if you decide to watch it.
Saw is not a movie that I like to watch. I hate gore. I prefer to watch a movie that has very little blood and gore. I prefer the psychological horror to the gore and torture elements that are in many Hollywood horror movies now.

I do not watch horror movies as this type of film virtually has no decent plot and the film relies on horror rather than a good mix of characters, story line, scary props and third-class ratings and so on. When you see an aerial short in the opening scene where below you see a forest of trees you just know a hillbilly is going to appear out of the woods with broken teeth and four strings of hair. That is not to say that there are not good horror movies. The Silence of the Lambs with Anthony Hopkins to me is a tale of horror, well told, well produced and a tale that makes you squirm in your seat. Acting the part of Hannibal Lechter, he is a most frightening character in that his voice alone scares the hell out of you. Excellent watching if you want tasteful horror.

I Love horror movies. I think my favorites are the Jeeper Creepers movies. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out which will be next year! I grew up watching the friday the 13th movies and nightmare on elm street. My all time favorite is Halloween. The very first one. I don't get scared watching them anymore cause you always know whats going to happen. Its the same for every horror movie I think.

Hi there.
I love horror movies. I am big fan of this genre and seem to have a surprisingly huge appetite for horror movies. My favorite is Grudge. I don't think it's a new movie but I saw it recently. It is The Grave Encounters. It was pretty okay. But I really can't go for the gore stuff. But pure horror is surely my stuff.

I love Horror movies, but I didn't like none of the "Saw" movies, nor "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", nor "House of 1000 Corpses", etc. I don't like the torture movies like those. Those movies could actually happen. I don't like seeing people being tortured. They don't scare me they sicken me. I like "Friday the 13th", "Jeepers Creepers", "Insidious was good, but not scary. That creepy red and black faced demon was awesome. I'd like to have a Halloween costume like that. "The ring" and "The Ring II", and "The Grudge", etc. I haven't seen a horror movie in a bunch of years that have actually scared me. The Grudge was probably the spookiest. Paranormal Activity was a joke. The only spooky part of it was at the very end. I've lived in houses that was scarier than the movies. Halloween, although not scary, is my favorite movie of all time. I'd like to have a live size stand T of Michael Meyers to stand in the corner of my bedroom. My husband says he don't know how I can sit and watch that stuff over and over. It's no big deal. The next movie I want to see is The Woman in Black, it suppose to be scary. I'd like to find a good scary movie. I just bought seven horror movies, I'm going to try to watch them over the weekend.

hello,
JUST LIKE YOU MY FRIEND I AM ALSO A HUGE FAN OF HORROR MOVIES AND LOVE TO WATCH ANY NEW HORROR MOVIE THAT RELEASES. LAST HORROR MOVIE THAT I WATCHED WAS THE CABIN IN TH WOODS. IT WAS A BAD MOVIE. I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I ALSO WATCHED SAW A LONG TIME AGO. IT IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE HORROR MOVIE. ITS CONCEPT IS SO NEW AND ORIGINAL.I LOVED IT. IT'S A SERIES OF 7 FILMS BUT THE FIRST THREE PARTS ARE GOOD, THE REMAINING ONES ARE VERY BAD. YOU SHOULD WATCH ALL OF THEM IF U WANT TO. THEY ARE UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN WAY.

I honestly am not fond of watching horror movies... they stick to my brain! and even as matured as I am, I still get afraid of the dark. and it is where crazy imaginations comes in. So to avoid that, I also avoid watching horror films... But I did saw some of them...
