Sleeping and waking up at awkward timing

Nowadays I slept and woke up at the most awkward timing just to do my work. Sleeping at 8pm then waking up at 4am and I felt terrible because of that. In order to cure my sleepiness I had to drink coffee despite having 8 hours of sleep which is enough. Maybe my body is not suited to wake up too early. Probably this is bad for health.

I think it is because you woke up at the wrong REM cycle or something.. i'm not really sure about this, but i guess the best time to wake up is when you just finished the 4th cycle or when you're about to start the 1st one. You'll feel totally refreshed.

Many will say you just need a routine, but I went from working midnights to working 5am - 10am (plus other jobs). I just couldnt handle it, I was always constantly tired, and dragging myself. I do bettern on afternoons and nights than early mornings. Maybe, your just not cut out for the early mornings.

Time and Tide Waits for none. So, we must utilize the time for the right work. For a normal person, if he want to live without any disease, sleeping 8 hours per night is more important. It plays a vital role in keeping our body metabolism very healthy. If you didn't find a good sleep due to your work, change your work. Not your sleeping time.

I feel weak when I got sleeping difficulties. Well you can say that again "awkward timing"!:(
I drunk coffee 9pm last night, went to bed by 12midnight but was wide awake til 3am! I really wanted to sleep since I have work in the morning. I fell asleep and woke up 7am, I felt dizzy like the world's turning.
I really believe sleep daytime and night time has diff. impact on our health..
My mom always tell me, God wouldn't make day and night diff. for no reason at all.
so when the night comes, go sleep and serve it's purpose. lol!
Hope wed'd have a stable sleeping habit :/

As long as you are getting enough sleep you are fine. I can never sleep for more than maybe a few hours at a time, and will fall asleep and wake up any time of the day or night. If you are fighting illness, injury, or are going through a life change, or are changing your sleep schedule, it will take some time to adjust. Be patient. And as long as you are getting enough sleep, your body will adjust on it's own. It's amazing how the body can take care of itself.

many people follow the timing you follow, but they are accustomed to that, but in your case, you are not used to it, so it may cause problems, but early to bed and early to rise is usually good, if it is made as a habit. don't worry you will or your body will slowly learn the timing.

well i can understand the situation u are going through. U must be feeling bad about the awkward timing of your sleep. In fact any one on this earth would be annoyed with such timing as it is usually no the normal sleeping hours of a human being. But then u should try to get involved in such activities that would divert your mind and avoid u taking sleep at an earlier time. then only u can have a balanced timing of sleep. Taking coffee or tea is not a solution. Try to spend time in doing your favorite stuffs and i am sure u will be back to the normal sleeping time.
What say?
