I just started with my new job. Excited of whats ahead, learning things, gaining friends and having worthy experiences. But unfortunate I landed on a place were people are fault finding, everyone is always competing who's the most. Will, competition is good but then being greedy of attention and appreciation is not healthy at all.We all have unique character, talent and strength so no one can completely bit the other. Can we just help each other and bring out what's best... it would be easy...

Competition is everywhere. You just need to focus on what you do and do the best that you can. Don't mind others who are doing those negative things. It wouldn't make them any better even though how much they would try.

Sometimes, we just need to learn how to be numb. It is hard, but it is the only way (at least, for me) to keep my sanity.

Hi shirley! That is a common scenario in every work place. We just have to be patient at all times in order to have a smooth working relationship with the people around.

That is always the problem with most jobs anymore. People are tending to want to compete instead of working together. And then when someone is not wanting to do their part they will idely stand by and watch or complain constantly to make you wish they could disappear. Wish it could be a little more easy.

It is a big work area; you can avoid interacting with these kind of people (outside work) if you really cannot get on with them and their attitudes. BEsides, you are there to work and not to socialize and make friends. As long as you do your job the best way you can and their attitudes do not get in the way of you performing this very well, then you should be fine. Let them do the fault finding; just concentrate on what you do best and they will never find something to fault you with.
