It sounds like a great event for all to enjoy. I am sure after all that is happening many will be very tired. They will be ready to go home then. Will all be able to participate in the dancing? Or it sounds like just the set amount who are with the event? I would just like to watch. I do not know how to dance so that is better

Yes, i guess every town in the provinces have their own fiestas. And i think even in Metro Manila they do have that. It's a day of celebration and months before that everybody who wants to participate in any event , such as the street dancing are already so agog in practicing. And just like your place, here in our province we also always have a yearly street dancing. Although, it's not done during the city fiesta, but on a particular month assigned for it. Happy fiesta, ardoy!

Oh wow, that sounds like something that is a lot of fun. Here, we rarely have any kind of events like that. I mean every year at the end of October our city does host an annual Thriller parade. However, as far as just having a lot of different street dancing going on downtown, this is not something that I've ever had the opportunity to experience. I hope that you had a great time during this celebration. I'd love to experience it some time in my life.

Hi ardoy! October is really a month when there are many festivities happening around. In our place, we would also be having this festival on the second week and we would be on a local holiday on that day. When I was also in my temporary station, they also celebrated their town fiesta and I even joined the street dancing. It was one of my most unforgettable experience there. Happy fiesta!

Celebrating fiesta is always unforgettable all the time. Sad to say that I cant attend the pagoda last Thursday due to work. I smell the foods that are cooking in the neighborhood. Everyone seems to be enjoy and happy to celebrate fiesta and looking forward whats gonna happen to today.

Actually, I am not happy today for i have spent the whole time on the bus. I was on the way back to university where is far from my home. I felt sick not only because takeing bus for so long time but also because I am getting far away from my hometown. Yes! I am homesick! But I felt different after i read your words. I like such kind of dancing! And i think tommorrow is another day! Everthing will be OK! All of us should be happy!

There are times when I envy people like you who have a chance to celebrate fiestas. I grew up in a place without a patron saint to give some sort of homage to. That's why when my friends ask me to visit them during a fiesta, I rarely decline the invitation. I really love the festive atmosphere during fiestas - marching bands, street dancing, outdoor games, and most of all, eating sumptuous food

When I was in the Philippines 3 months ago, I witnessed the street dancing in Bonok Bonok Maradjaw Karajao Festival in Surigao City. I really amazed how they contingent did during the parade. However, compare to I witnessed in the previous years, way back year 2000-2003. I can say that before was better compare to the latest one. Still happy and enjoy watchng with the crowd!
