Why do you think that people misunderstand you when you have the best interest at heart. See you try to do something your are misunderstand for your actions ,word and deed. It is sometimes very difficult and you feel sometimes helpless when it happen. I think is because some people are very self centered and try to use every situation for there own purpose.

One possible reason might be the choice of words used. After all, words are the easiest way to get misunderstood. It is really frustrating though when you had the best of intentions but instead it was viewed in the negative. You could always refrain from saying or doing something to help someone or you could continue doing so but give them a heads-up and tell them that what you're gonna say or do, you have their best interest at heart

That's because my friend, people have different perceptions on how and why things are done.
It may be help to you but for them its undermining their capacity. Sad, but that always happens. Our good intentions are not accepted as good.
Better not give anymore, my friend when that happens.
