Online Blogging Problems

A lot of people claimed that they earn a lot in the internet through blogging. According to them they put ads in there blogs and earn from them. Some use ads from chitika, bivertiser, and the most famous adsense. So I tried my fortune in blogging.
After some efforts I was able to set up a blog and put some ads in it yesterday and I waited for the next day to see if I earned. But it was zero balance. I realize that it is hard to get people to view a blog.
So for the bloggers here, can you give me an advise? What is the best blogsite? How do I earn more viewers? Thank you.

hello there!(tracy here)
i have an active tumblr blog. got around 100 followers and they're there mainly because i tag a lot, on things which cater to the interests of many tumblr bloggers...
have you tried nuffnang? i was trying it yesterday but i'm afraid the script wasn't working right. i still have to find out how it goes.
but anyway, the things i can advise you to do for more traffic and followers:
tag as much as you can
upload images
reblog (when possible)
good luck and happy blogging! :D

Have you gone onto any of the hundreds of blog directories?
Is it a Blogger.com account?
Have you had a chance to 'ping' it yet?
Usually the search engines LOVE blogs before they even 'admire' static websites, so the answer is simply to promote it.
Remember, as in the terms of use, you can not place your blog on any of the trffic exchanges or safe-lists.

yes, there is a big opportunity to earn a lot in blogging. you just have to know how and write well. my blogs (not only one) are earning not that much, but they are accumulating decent earnings for me. it took me one year to learn some tips and actually implemented them. for me, joining a blog group helps a lot to understand the trend of blogging. most important of all, keep writing on your blog.

Well I am planning to join a blog group. I am hoping that it will take me lesser than a year to get the hang of blogging though. I will keep writing thanks for the encouragement.

my advice is patience and time, build more content and this means write more and more, just like a vendor you don't like to scout to a vendor who only had a few items to sell but rather straight to a vendor who has a lot of everything to offer for you to buy, same thing could happen to a blogger, no one wants to read a very few post and very few article. Visitors are eager to learn, to read and to search so give them what they need, write often

Hi Air! Well I've learned that blogging for money is quite hard for me. I am too busy to write these days. My plan is to write all my blogs on paper and publish them altogether when it is already considerably many.

Share them a lot on your social net. sites. Or send every blog link to your friends:)
Support comes first from friends and family, they are your biggest fans. :$
Another is to find friends (bloggers too) who may be interested and exchange of links.
You put their link on your site and they put your link on their site.
Another is to write for others. I am sorry if I will mention Fiverr again, but this site is really a good one. I try this site same as how I trust mylot.. :) You can try to post a gig saying,"i will write blogs for you _____" stating how many words or how many blogs you will make for $5.. in time, you will have good orders..
About the best blogsites, i can't answer yet since I am not a user of many. Others may have answers for it. good luck dear!=D

Oh, you seem to know a lot about blogging. It was very well said when you mentioned that family and friends are our biggest fans. I'm kinda shy in promoting my blogs to them though.
