As regular readers of this column (lol) will know, my lucrative hobby is betting on greyhounds, and I came across a bunch of dogs yesterday that tickled my fancy, and I thought I'd share them with you.
There are a number with names like: Paws A Moment, Paw Effort, and, of course, Twenty Paw Seven. There's a whole bunch called things like Ears Tyson, or Ears 'arry, or Fred, or ..... Yesterday I came across Two Shakes. Clever and mildly amusing, and getting away from: by Pedro's Finest out of Lady Jacqueline = Finest Jacqueline, or Lady Pedro, or Pedro's Lady - no imagination at all.
But I came across another one yesterday which finished 6th, and I do hope that's not an omen.

So I'm scratchin' my head, thinking "I don't get it!" Then I noticed the key think "Bark" Obama.. My mind just skimmed over that key word at first seeing it as it usually is, Barack Obama.. That's pretty creative!

Honestly, there's so much humour to be found in greyhound names. There was a dog entered today called Sniffles, but he was scratched. He probably had a cold lol.

there are so many meanings, the confusion of pronounciation and also the bitter experience of mispelling it,we have to be correct always
