I think it was not post office's fault that your items never arrived, I had the same experience and I came to the post office to ask about my package. Package from abroad firstly arrived in Custom (Bea Cukai) to be checked and then it will be forwaded to Post Office's head office and then forwaded to the branch office. Indonesian Post Office now is improving and has better services. I remember one of my package I bought from ebay came in 2 weeks only and I didnt have to pay for Rp.3000, I asked the Postman why I didnt have to pay package fee? He told me that my package came through postal mail so it didnt have to pass Bea Cukai thats why the package is free from any fee. But when my package had to pass Bea Cukai, I have to pay Rp. 3000 and the shipping time until it is delivered between 1-2 months. The problem is in the custom (Bea Cukai), sometime they are not honest and steal our packages, many people had bad experience with the custom like missing items from the package or ridiculous tax. If we bought items under $50 (including the shipping cost) we dont have to pay tax, we only need to pay Bea lalu Rp. 3000, but sometime Bea cukai officer mark up the tax and many people already filled complain at Bea cukai because of that.

If your seller send your package as post mail (using stamp) the package will go straightly to Post office, and we dont have to pay Bea lalu Rp.3000. But if your seller send your package as parcel, the package will be checked at Custom first and then you have to pay Rp 3000 and also the package will need more time until it is delivered to your address.

can i ask you some help fashion?? i want to buy several things from ebay, from cellphone and maybe harddisk for computer.. i had asked my friend about ebay, but he never buy any things from ebay..

that`s make worry many newbie in ebay or maybe try to become seller.. i mean i send money in your bank account, when i had been informed or read there are bid about cellphone or smartphone and under $50 and iam interested and i send you money (maybe IDR or $$, depends on your wish) for making bid or buy the things...

Sure I will try to help as I can. When I buy from ebay, I always check the price and compare it with price in Indonesia. There are 2 ways to shop on ebay: by bid or buy it now. Bid is similar to lelang in Indonesian language, the highest bidder will win the item. Buy it now is fixed price, you dont have to bid the item, you can buy the item anytime you want. There are many factors to consider when we buy electronic from online shops especially from abroad, like the price, tax (if you ordered anything more than $50 including shipping cost you have to pay tax/custom's tax. Becareful of thieft in bea cukai), after sales guarantee (if the item you received is broken or not the same as item description) return and refund, shipping cost,etc.

I've sold a variety of things on there such as car parts, books, movies, etc. You can sell just about anything on there. I do far more buying than I do selling however.

what about computer part or cellphone?/ don`t you provide too in your online shop in ebay?? do you use amazon too??

he said it`s free shipping cost it means that he only add 3,000 IDR for $15.. it makes me interested to register in ebay

yes harddisk for computer or laptop i don`t know too why my friend buy harddisk...and not USB..i don`t know his reason yes, some of ebay seller said like that too..a shipping cost, a reputation from the seller is the priority when do transasction in ebay

yes, he get a cheaper price i think.. if i convert to my currency, 15USD ($1 = IDR 9,2000), it can be IDR 138,000 and it`s very cheap.. if iam not wrong, the hardisk with 500 gigabytes, it`s normally sold with IDR 500,000..
