I can see that you are from the Philippines. If you want to buy cheap computers you can go to Open Pinoy dot com. I bought to units from them and it's working great. They usually sell Asrock motherboard. Their computer prices if lower compared to Green Hills. Their main office is in San Juan, but I think they also have offices in Ortigas and Makati. Just try to go to their website and check their exact office address.

You can go to any PC Gilmore outlet and ask them to assemble a computer for you and give them your budget. I think for more or less than 12k php you can have a decent
Intel dual core PC but if you're into gaming you can opt for higher microprocessor like i5 or i7 which will surely cost more.

Actually Open Pinoy offers lower prices than Gilmore. I canvassed last month before I bought PC from Open Pinoy. What's good about them is that their warranty for motherboards is up to two years and when you want to get a replacement they will give it to you right away. Warranty in Gilmore is for only one year.

i suggest you contact a friend who knows how to assemble a desktop. or maybe a friend's friend.
how i got my desktop pc is that i consulted my friend to what specifications are needed for my purpose. then i told him how much i am willing to give to have my pc built. with my specs and my budget in mind, he proceeded to build my desktop. and here i am, typing my response to you.

It depends on your location and country. If your in the US, I think bestbuy, amazon, etc. will be a good place. Also, what specific computer are you planning to buy? A desktop, laptop, netbook, or a tablet? I guess, you could just go to the nearest pc hardware store in your place, and ask them for the cheapest computer/laptop bundle for you. I suggest that you look for computers with an AMD processor, because they tend to be cheaper than their Intel counterparts. My current laptop and desktop both uses amd processors, because they are usually cheaper than Intel based computers but they still perform well for my daily computing needs/tasks.

You are right about the AMD, becouse AMD is cheaper. But AMD is nothing to rely on, becouse it can easily overheat if you don't know what you are doing, and intel does have a longer lifetime than AMD. AMD is for sure the best choice when only doing myLot and such on the internet, but for games it isn't anything to have at all.
