I was at work today, and brought my lunch with me. The girl I worked with was going to order her lunch from an asian restuarent. She asked me if I wanted anything, I told her no as I can't afford it maybe next time.
She bought me a rice dish, and a smoothie for lunch. I told her I oew her and will buy it next time.

Awww, how sweet was that!
What a nice person to do such a thing, especially nowadays. It's also nice you told her you'd buy next time. If you can't afford to do this maybe you can bake some cookies for her.
I understand when money is tight and you can't do stuff, and sometimes baking something is especially welcomed and less expensive, but still says "Thank You" in its own way. Very nice all the way around.

Don't you think it's odd we celebrate Thanksgiving on different days? I wonder why. Anyhow regardless, the cookies are an awesome idea and very nice of you to do. Halloween cookies are fun to make too!

That was nice of your co-worker to buy you lunch. I think it is great when co-workers help each other out. I know I had a co-worker when I was in college and we would do things together on our days off which was Friday and the weekend. Now that I am not working I do a lot of things around the house and do not go out as often.

Tat is great. I would just say thank you to her and not feel obligated. She nought you lunch when you already brought your lunch and had declined her offer. Maybe, if you wanted to you could return the favor and buy her lunch.

That was so very nice of your co-worker to buy lunch for you because you weren't able to afford it. I always really appreciated when someone does something like that for me. I know that there are times that we are in a really tough situation and we are lucky to even be able to eat. However, my mother and my in-laws have been more than willing to help us out where they can. I have returned the favor by helping them out when we are in a position that we are able to help them through tough times in their lives.
