I think that is awful, perhaps the mother should be reported, as that is a form of neglect.Knowing a child has adhd you would not leave a child unattended like that no matter what the age. Also if a child is that young they should not be out on the street on their own. Next time if you see this, I would make that call, as you are the one who will have to also live with the fact if anything was to happen to that child, as you will wish you had done something about it. Some people do not deserve the right to have children, think of all those people out there that would give any thing to have a child as they are unable to have any of their own.

The mother says the child has adhd I take it, well if it did, she would have been out there watching her child rather than letting her child out.A child of that age should have been indoors or at least watched by an adult, some people call their selves parents makes me sick.

Wow, what parents would do that? What if somebody took him away, or he saunters somewhere and gets lost? Surely if you're a parent of a little kid you shouldn't let him out of your sight.

The parents are very irresponsible indeed. The little boy of around six years old should have been playing inside the house alongside his mom or dad. The five year old little girl in Wales has disappeared and her parents plus everyone the knows her is very worried about her. I remember in 2007 a little girl disappeared in Portugal whilst her family were on a vacation. I can't imagine the emotional pain of losing a child. I feel sad when I hear about a child that has disappeared. I push my disabled son along in his wheelchair and keep my daughter next to him. They play inside and if my daughter goes out on her bike or scooter I walk along behind her. This situation is not new very sadly and every parent should not let their kids play outside alone in this day and age.

Oh my gosh, no. Don't people read the papers? Anything can happen to this little boy and when it does, they'll be the first one's to scream about it. In all cases, it was their fault if something happnes but no one wants to see this happen. Where are their minds? Do they really think it's safe out there?

this lady thinks it is safe but it is not safe anywhere nomore this lady would be the first to knock on peoples doors to see where her child is but then again i dont think she would but her older children were no where to be seen

Its not a good idea for children that young to be left outside by themselves, too many dangers in this world... Just because a child is adhd, it does not make the situation ok!! My oldest son is adhd, and is the same age... still does not excuse parents from not properly supervising their children! I would have to agree with you there are some people out there that shouldnt procreate or have children.. But its a right and a freedom that we all have..

My son has adhd and there is no way on this earth would I ever let him out side on his own no matter what, medicated or no medication and he is now nine years old. A child is so vulnerable at that age and they do not see people as a danger, neither do they look when crossing a road when they see people that they know.

Before I had my boys I did a lot of babysitting.. even back then if the kids were outside, thats were I was... if I had to go in we all went in.. I lived in a nice area but I was not willing to take that risk... Granted children with special needs, needs extra care but this is one topic that it doesnt matter...Children are soo speical and so fragile risking their safety is so wrong!!! only takes a second, to be regetting the rest of your lives...
