They say.. Doing the WRONG thing actually feels really good!

There's this popular quote here at my country which states that "Doing something wrong / forbidden is a bad thing... but it actually feels really good!" I guess it's true. Like for example, you have a cough, of course you are forbidden to drink cold drinks... but when you do drink some you actually feels sooo good! I think it is more of a guilty pleasure. Another example is that, when your mom didn't allow you to go an overnight swimming with your gang, but you sneaked out and went with them and you enjoyed your night off with your friends. But of course after this happy moments, there's always a regret. Like for in the cough example, drinking cold drinks will just worsen it, and in the overnight swimming example, your regret is that your mom never trusted you again! _

i agree with you,i think doing the wrong things can let us feel good ,because in the most of time,we do the right things we think which let us feel tired.when we do the wrong things one time,we feel relax,if we do it more,i think we can't feel happy,we want to do the right things,i think ,good luck!

We grew in an environment that teaches us that doing good is the RIGHT thing to do, and should be implemented most of the time. This is why we get bored doing the same thing over and over again. So, I guess your point makes sense. Doing something wrong make us somewhat happy since it changes our natural "good" flow.

I do think that perhaps the possibility of being caught "the element" of danger in between, and being able to pass through or go through with it causes a lot of excitement and adrenalin rushing through our veins; this is in general. So, messing up with the wrong things would surely feel good, lol!

Yes, it's also the thrill and excitement that makes it feels good. I guess, sometimes its fun to look back at those times when we actually choose to do wrong things, and how experiencing it thought us some lessons in life. ^__^

It is strange really, because there is something within our souls which means that the things that are not good for us are the things that we want the most. It is like when you're deciding what to have to eat in the evening, you would always prefer to have a take out than cook something from fresh because it tastes so good because of the fact that it is not good for you. But I think that the most important thing that you can do is to remember that you have to strike a balance between good and bad, and then you can be happy.

Nicely stated! As religion always states, God has given his people the only thing that his power could not take effect... FREE WILL. I guess, as you said.. it'll be our decision / responsibility to balance wrong from right.

Well, I guess you've answered everything my dear. It feels good for a short time- but the result might made you regret forever. like- if your mom won't trust you anymore- what will gonna happen then. So, it's better to do the right thing without regretting after.

Yup! Regretting something is the worst thing that could happen. You would wished that you had never even did it in the first place. But as humans, we are entitled to do mistakes because this is the only way to learn life's lesson... even though it's the hard way.

sometimes it's good so you can know what it's really all about and not be too sheltered and clueless. for some, once is enough. for others, once is traumatic. and for some, once is the beginning. what's important is you're fully aware of what you're doing and its consequences, to you and others.

Yes, that is also what I think. We as humans could not learn until we experience it first hand. Most of us don't believe on something until it happened to us. So, I guess doing something wrong is also a way of learning things too. And its true that its impact on our life will be based on how we handled it.

Doing something bad really makes us feel good.. specially when we use it as an excuse for something much more... ^^ Remember,, PEOPLE don't have an infinite supply of Trust instilled within them,, so let us try to treasure that trust ^^ Happy day everyday ^^

Yes, I agree with you. we should always remember that trust isn't given... it is earned. So we should not just throw it away doing something wrong just for fun.

Yes, I agree with you. Doing forbidden things let us feel good. LOL. However, we'll be the one to suffer in the end. I guess it will be better if we'll discipline ourselves. Happy mylotting.

I think, it is more tempting the more it's forbidden. Having it done even you think is wrong I guess is more fulfilling as you have said. But face the consequences later. I think that is human nature, the more we are tempted even we knew that the results will not be good.

I use to watch tv at a close distance which I was warned many times. But until now I can distinguish objects far away up to inches small. I also don't feel tired reading for a long time. I guess my eyes were just trained.

LOL! May I ask how old you are? We share the same "wrong doings". I was also being told not to abuse my eyes, and my grandma said that i wont experience anything wrong with my eyes yet since I'm young, but I will suffer when I get old. Lets cross our fingers then... shall we! ^__^

I agree! Sometimes it really feels good to do the wrong thing. As in my case, I often go to my class late because I want to sleep a little bit longer. And it really feels good to satisfy myself. :)

Hey thanks a ton for the quote. Yes i also feel at times that this quote holds quite a resemblance in our life just look at the example u have given. It is in fact the best possible example one can state. u are always forbidden to have cold stuffs like ice cream, cold drinks, etc while at cold, but then u do not listen to anyone and have all those things and it is an utter delight that cannot be expressed in words. What say?

It is really a good feeling if you do the forbidden. There's a sudden rush for the defiance of the rules. You feel great and unique and above the norms because you're daring. But you're right, this defiance can also get old. Its got its own consequences and bad effects.

The thrill and excitement makes it more fun I guess, plus the thought that "WOW! I experience that sort of thing!". ^_^

Yes it does feel good. lol I remember when I was in primary school and my school teacher organised a nice picnic at the beach. My strictly told me not to go for a swim in the sea, I did and I had the bet time ever in the water with my friends. I gave my swimsuit to my best friend in my class to wash it at her place. My Mum recognised I had gone into the sea while combing my hair because it was wet. lol I was punished because of that. lol

Thanks for sharing Babyeve! Have you ever wondered why moms are best at learning or bringing up the truth no matter how we hide something from them? I guess, doing something wrong is also fun when experienced together with true friends. I also think that its also one of the things that tightens your bond.

I guess that's true... Somehow the more people tell us not to do things, the more we like to do them and they end up being very enjoyable. Like sleeping late and partying hard. When we do those things, we have fun, enjoy the night. But next morning, there are headaches, body pains even, and discomforts from having little to no sleep. Everything should be taken in moderation I think. :)
