It's nearly two months to go for the holidays. Can't help not to be excited for the coming Christmas time. After all it's the happiest occasion of the year. It's wonderful dreaming of a wonderful Christmas celebration. How I wish wishes for a beautiful Christmas would come true. In preparation put up a little business of serving snacks and drinks in a prep school nearby. It's an exciting experience cooking merienda and serving at the little tots and parents. I hope I would earn even a little and save for Christmas time. How about you friends, are you thinking about Christmas Holidays by this time too?

Though I will admit that I'm nowhere near ready to put the Christmas decorations up, I have been thinking about Christmas in terms of gifts and such for a couple of months now. The reason that I start to think about Christmas shopping so much in advance is because of the fact that if I didn't do it that way, there is no way that I would be able to afford to do all of the shopping that I would like to be able to do for Christmas.

Likewise here dorannmwin, me too can't afford the christmas shopping as planned. I always settle for little things that I think means a lot. That's alright however as long as we feel we're celebrating christmas true to our hearts. Thanks for the response. God bless...

I always start to think about Chrismas around this time of year. When the days get shorter and cooler, it's time for me to pull out my crafting supplies and recipes. I have always loved to make gifts for everyone and have learned to start early. I knit, crochet, sew, make jewelry and make baked goodies like cakes, breads, cookies and candies. I go to second-hand stores to pick up things that I can use to create gifts, they're a great source of materials for crafting and a great price. For example, I just bought a VERY large skirt for a couple of dollars with a beautiful pattern that will look terrific as a shoulder bag and am in the process of making that now for a friend of mine as a Christmas gift.
I don't have a lot of money to spend on buying gifts for people but, even if I did, I'd still rather make gifts when I can because they mean so much more. I put a little of myself into every gift I make and you can't get that from a store-bought gift. There are some things that I want to give that I cannot make so I will buy some things but I always try to personalize them in some way by adding something personal. With the economy being so bad, I'd much rather give gifts that are useful to each person I give to.
I get very excited when it's time to pull out the Christmas decorations because that is so much fun. I love decorating and Christmas is such a beautiful time of year.

That's great mentalward, I admire you for being so creative. I'm not quite good in making gifts but I can cook some delicacies as well. I love thou and for sure will enjoy doing my own christmas gifts. Right christmas is really the most beautiful time of the year. Let's all be merry. Thanks for the response. Have a nice day...

I can't believe that there is so little time to go between now and the holiday period. It hardly seems like a few minutes since the last Christmas, and now we are here again. I will admit that I have finished my shopping already because I got a bit payment in September and I thought that it might be a really good time to be able to start the shopping. It turned out that I had more than enough money to finish it rather than just starting it, and that was a lovely thing to be able to do because I know that I can now enjoy December without having to get stressed out about buying presents.

I am getting excited as well. I am hoping to get my homework done in advance so I can spend Thanksgiving weekend setting things up for Christmas. I am also working on my crafts so I can start selling them online. I think that people will start buying Christmas ornaments later on this month and the beginning of November. This weekend I will be setting up my budget for Christmas gifts. I cannot wait to start my crafts.

Not to burst anyone's bubble in any way, but the holidays are way to overrated. Everybody always has to out do everyone else. What happened to when just spending time being happy with family and friends counted for something.
