Mimo that number is only called 'user activity rating' and not rank.
The only ranking here is that which happens inside interests which we add and can be after that number if we have added the interest.

Barood, as Riya mentioned, you need to wait till you reach 200. The number beside your name. Its also called rank. The more you participate, the faster the count increases.

today post five or six more responses and reach 100 and get a star. you will know the rating given by mylot members. i am meeting you today only.

As you cross 200 in bracket you will get the ability to post smileys. When we type responses--after 200-- you will get on the left side mylot code --from there you can choose and post.
barood-- now run fast to day you must cross 100 and get star.

The responses above are very clear and explained well. So I won't waste your time by echoing the same thing. But I'll try to inform you even further. There are many things in myLot for which you need to reach a certain rank before a feature can be used. Like unless you reach 100th you can't get a star besides your name. The star determines one's reputation. You are unable to copy-paste long texts unless you reach the 500th rank. And so much more. Good day!
