myLot is such good therapy

Today I really realized how good myLotting can be for me. I've always enjoyed coming on and responding to discussions and creating my own. But since my boyfriend has left for the army, I find myLot to be a good place to come on and either vent my feelings or ask advice.
I love hearing from myLotters and reading any advice they give me. It's also comforting to know that there are some people who I've never met before who always seem to be there for me when I'm feeling down. Reading the nice things that some of you have to say make me feel a lot better when I'm feeling really sad or upset.
It's just nice to know that when I have something to talk about, there's always someone on myLot willing to respond and give me their opinion or offer advice. When my boyfriend isn't able to talk to me, myLot makes me feel better during those times and can keep me comforted until I'm actually able to talk to him again.
It just really hit me today how thankful I am to have myLot to come to. I also like to share my experiences with others when they're doubtful or when they get sad about something, especially relationships. Over the next 6 months I'll be on myLot a lot and knowing me, I'll probably go on and on about my boyfriend lol so try and bear with me.
I just wanted to say thank you to those who have commented on my discussions before and have given me kind words when I really needed them. I really appreciate it :)

I really do use myLot for just about everything. I'll come here when I'm sad, angry, have questions, or when I have something happy to share. Every once in a while I do post random discussions of things but for the most part a lot of my discussions relate to events in life that make me feel sad, happy, or even angry. Whenever I'm feeling like that it's always nice to know that I have myLot to come to and get people's advice or comforting words to make me feel better. I also like getting advice from people because I'm still pretty young and I like to hear advice from people who have more experience in life than I do.

I would agree with what you have said about my lot,i think my lot is a nice little community where everybody gets on and tries to help eachother.Unlike a lot of websites very few people try to scam or spam you and those that do don't tend to stick around for very long.On my lot people can discuss pretty hot topics and unlike a lot of websites it dosent turn into a flamewar,i have been part if several discussions about religion on my lot and they have always stayed polite.You only have to look in the you tube comments on some videos to see how spiteful religious debates on the internet can become but it never really happens on my lot.

It's true. Everyone on myLot is nice and respectable, even during discussions on touchy subjects. It's just nice to know that most of us get along and can give our opinions without becoming rude and causing heated debates and fights. For me, myLot is a nice place to go and just vent or relax.

hi courtknee I like my lot for its therapy too. I came here lonely dejected as I had been made to retire simply because I w as 80.so I needed to make some money but more I needed reassureance that I too was somebody, was unique, and boy I made so many wonderful friends and from all over the world. its an experience I tell youand as you sa y its good therapy people here are so kind and they uplift you and make you feel good about yourself again.
I can imagine its lonely having your boyfriend in the army now. keep in touch via phone if y u can or the net,. here we are close to a marine base and I had a friend whose husband is overseas and I suggested she join my,lot, I do not know if she has done so but its a way to combat loneliness that women with loved ones in the servicer often have,.You are like a lot of us who have just realized how much my lot actually helps us with good therapy.

Thank you Hatley :) I love coming here and hearing from everyone here, especially those who regularly comment on my discussions...I feel like I know some of them even though we've never met in real life. There have been many times where myLot users have comforted me during sad times and they also share on the happy experiences that I sometimes post as well. It really is a great place to go to when you need to feel better about things.
Now that I can't always talk to my boyfriend whenever we'd like, it's nice to have myLot to come to when I need to vent while my boyfriend is busy. Mylot has been such a good place to come to, especially when he left in May. There's always someone to talk to here and it's just really comforting to know that.
Hopefully I'll hear from you again :)

Yes, myLot is our family now. We are all here to comfort one another whenever we feel down and giving up. I also feel grateful in being here. It's such a wonderful place to stay. Reading comforting words from our dear fellow myLotters gives me enough confidence to face each life's challenges. I hope you will enjoy here a lot so that you won't notice that time is so fast and soon you will meet your bf again. Just be strong. In a relationship, there are always some sacrifices. It really is nice to b able to come here and talk about many different things. Usually my boyfriend is the first person I go to when I need to talk, but he's in the army and sometimes we can't always talk right away when i need it. So myLot is good to come onto when I just need to let it all out. I love how there's always someone to give advice or say nice things. I'm planning on being on myLot as much as I can and hopefully make the time go by fast.

indeed this site is one of a kind. that i truly feel relaxed and comfortable whenever i am logged on here. same as you are, i am very thankful to the advises and responses being posted under those topics that i am raising up. and though we are just in an online world, it feels like we have met-up and already a one big happy group of friends, giving an encouraging words and good counsel to everyone.

Yes, it definitely feels that way. Whenever I need to just let out my feelings, myLot is always the perfect place to go because there's always someone to give advice and help you through tough times.

Hi CourtKnee! I feel the same way that you do. It's great therapy to get what is inside me out there. There are so many people here that lift me up and encourage me. I'm so glad I have you and many others are kind and encouraging. I don't know what it is like to be separated for long periods of time lime you are experiencing. I have extended family members who have. It's hard. I'm so proud that your boyfriend is serving. Please tell him again that he is one of my heroes. All people serving to protect our country are my heroes.

It's always nice to have someone who's there to give you kind words, even if you don't know them in person. There are many people here that go through difficult times and I'm always glad when I can say something and try to make them feel better.
I'm very proud of him as well and he's my hero :) I know he's doing an honorable thing for our country and he's also doing it so we can have a better future together. I tell him all the time he's my hero and I also tell him what other people say too, even my friends on myLot and I say that you and some others consider him a hero. Lol he always blushes when I say stuff like that, he doesn't like all the attention. At the airport people stared, he was upgraded to first class, and the flight attendant made a special announcement just for him. He definitely doesn't like to be the center of attention, but I do like to let him know he's my hero and there are others that see him as a hero as well :)

He always says it means a lot to him when I tell him I'm proud of him or that he's my hero. I think that it makes him feel good since when he first decided to join I wasn't very happy. Although I still don't fully approve, I support his choice and I support him in every way I can.

I'm glad you found MYLOt as a place to talk with others..A lot of us go through hard ships so we can connect here and help each other out whenever we can..It's comforting that we all can relate to one another and especially find those people with similar interests..MYLOt is really a great place of honest, real people like us wanting to talk.
I wish i would have found this site when my husband was away for weeks at work..It would have probably made it easier for me to get through the day. Whatever the future holds for me I will always have MYLOT. he he he
