My sister in law lives there. She said Dubai is beautiful but the food there is expensive. One plate of "Nasi Lemak"(Malaysian food) cost you 15 dirham. You can get it for MYR1.00 only in Malaysia. But german cars are cheap. She bought Mercedes M5 for just 35K dirham. I might be visiting Dubai on June next year. I'll post some photos when I come back.

it's not that expensive when it comes to food and other stuff..the only thing that eat the money of the expats are the rental fees ...house is really expensive here! if you're earning an average salary, almost half of it will jsut be invested in the accomodation...

Dubai looks like a beautiful place to visit, I hear it is expensive though.
Hopefully I can go one day, when I have a bit more money in my bank account.
