The University of Colorado has picked the winners of every presidential election since
1980 by analyzing state-by-state factors leading to electoral college selection, and it predicts Romney will win big in November. Here's the article:

No one said Romney was incompetent just a very, very shady businessman who cares more about money than the country.

crossbones27..Again..I thnk that comes from a spin machine trashing Romney..I think Romney has plenty of money and certainly could make more than spending time running for and being President. Obama built his fortuune being Pres..so did Clinton..but Romney doesn't need to do that.

I'm prayin' for a landslide so the liberals can't steal it in some way, any number of ways they have up their sleeve.. I'm also prayin' against that attitude (I hear quite often) "Romney's for the rich" you know, number one talking point of the left.. Lotta folks believe what they're told especially when they hear it over and over and over.. true or not!

Here is an article that reviews how the polls were running the year Ronald Reagan was elected. As you will see they are highly subjective and not necessarily accurate.

So do I. They do a lot of political analysis and have an amazing record with their predictions. Thanks for your comments.

I think it's fun to read facts like this but it also reminds me of past headlines such as ' win defys accurate historical predictions ..." lol
Seems there are exceptions to everything sooner or later..but for Romney supporters, certainly this is a 'feel good' encouraging prediction

Not if he manages to get disqualified first:

If you believe everything you read in an ultra-liberal blog like that one, I have some beachfront property to sell you in AZ. Obama is the one with the foreign donor issue. The trouble with him is most of his donations can't be traced to any source. If Romney were charged with anything resembling this Obama should have to make full disclosure of all his sources for comparison including the last election's. We might have to disqualify HIM.

Ooh, I have a bridge that leads to nowhere err... sunshine land.
Perhaps, you should ask where President Obama's contributions are coming from since we know that Obama.com belongs to a foreign entity that redirects directly to a donation page.

you people do not understand Chicago politics. All a foreign Donor has to do is order several thousand dollars in pre paid visa cards of $200 or less and give them to the Obama Camp. Then campaign staffers can spend all day off site processing the cards and no one knows. In Chicago they used to give money to workers and then they would give it to the Chicago Machine. If you peal away the outer layer of his organization you would probably find the same thing as the Chicago Machine.

If you look at the 2008 election maps by voting counties you get a totally different picture. The Blue is mainly around large cities and government centers. I know in my state the vast amount of transportation money goes from the Federal and State government to the large cities and most of that is not for roads but for mass transit (government employees) but the tax revenue is coming from the outlining areas. More money is spent on Education and social programs by the state and federal government. To see the 2008 election results by county go to
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mejn/election/2008/
and scroll down about half way and see the map show the map Election results by county. If you look at the map you will see the blue around large population centers and government installations. This helps to explain the concept of we are divided into to groups those who are dependent on government to live and those who pay. Those who are dependent include government workers, contractors who work exclusively or almost exclusively for the government, it would include some people receiving public assistance but they are not the majority. Presidents Jackson and Van Buren understood the importance of having people dependent on you for their job in getting reelected.

On a side note and a little irrelevant, the NFL is also predicting a big win for Romney.

Great. Now I can vote for Gary Johnson and not have all the GOP people screaming at me that I lost them the election.

If you vote for Gary now you will probably have the democrats screaming at you that you lost them the election.

Yeah that whole thing has gotten very confusing...the GOP is saying a vote for Johnson is a vote for Obama. The Dems are staying a vote for Johnson is a vote for Romney.....um..a vote for Johnson is a vote for Johnson.
I guess both sides are upset because he is pulling votes from both sides. He is the only anti-war candidate on the ballot...so he appeals to people on both sides who are anti-war. Which in swing states could make a difference in who wins the election.

That's very interesting. I have been reading predictions and analysis from several sources that are saying that Obama has lost a lot of voter sectors and many people that voted for him the first time around, won't vote for him again. I have heard some people say that it will even be a "Reagan like" landslide for Romney. I don't know about that, but I think he definitely stands a good chance of winning. I think the debate really helped him and if he has good showings in the other debates, he may very well win over a lot of people. This election should be interesting to say the least.
