Does anyone have idea about how to start eye catchy discussion?

What you start is a topic for discussion. It is not a discussion until it receives responses and then you (or others) comment on them furthering the topic. Only then does it become a discussion. It doesn't matter how eye catchy is the title and the topic, if the user who starts it just comments with 'thank you for your response' (which is not allowed as stated in the guidelines) it will never become a successful discussion because by saying that, there is no effort on their part and nothing to discuss further .

A good topic.Actually it is not easy to initiate a meaningful and interesting discussion.You have to think a lot.Never forget that people don't have time to do any study first in order to understand the subject matter of your post.Better initiate discussions on light and day to day topics.Try to present your topic in an interesting way.And yes,try to make the title of the discussion catchy and interesting.The language of the discussion must be easy to understand so that nobody has any difficulty in understanding it.

Post the discussion in the right interest, use simple title, etc. Its not always about your discussion title or something like that. Its also about you, the more you active the more you get friends and that will be mean the more you will get responds and comments on every discussions you have started.

I have many 0 comment discussions here.. And 1 thing I noticed is that, people comment more on discussions about problems or things that they need to help, issues etc.. But I haven't received comments yet that we discuss more. I would really enjoy when I could have a discussion that in just one comment, we could have a trail of discussion also..

Most often, members would like to know something about how to increase their income, so they would oftentimes browse the topics under the interest on how to earn extra money. So if you can share anything about making extra money, I'm sure everyone would be very interested on that kind of topic. There are also times that we are oftentimes attracted on the title of the topic itself because it is something new, intriguing or unique in some way. Just in my case, last Sunday I started several discussions. I really prepared my topics on the other discussions and just before I went to sleep, I made my last discussion for the day without much preparations. When I opened the site this morning, the last discussion I started got the highest number of responses as compared to the others which I spent more of my time with.

I think its best to just post what you are thinking about. And people will be more atracted to those kind of posts.

Hi sunny: It's all a matter of inspiration. You have to find something that makes you motivated. If you start a discussion about something you actually care about you will probably find people that will also think it's a good topic to discuss and thus it will be a catchy discussion. Luck it's also a factor, sometimes you don't even know how a discussion was so popular on the site ALVARO

I will check your profile and your discussion then I will tell how you can start the discussion so more person can replied. First make lots of friends and start interesting discussions. The main is title should be catcy.

I think in order to start an eye catchy discussion, u need to first think of an appropriate topic that might attract others and would instigate them to leave away their responses. It should have that little spicy element in it so that the readers can enjoy reading the discussion equally as posting their responses. What say?

yes that's right. the user at my top is right. actually I had observe that here in my lot go to the interest that has huge number of users responding like i.e "mylot" "earn money" "making money". these three I have noticed that discussions here have the numbers of responses. I have also noticed some interest here have few responses like i.e. "aquarium" which I have started a discussions about fishes for almost 5 days but unfortunately didn't get any responses at all.
