So... I don't know how everyone feels about this but I think it's down right stupid. Me and my mom were watching the match and when West Indies won my mom said "I hope none of them go and kill themselves because they lose or the team lose" and now we hear the news. I don't want to be stereotypical but why does this always happen with these teams?

Sports helps in building character. You learn to cope with defeat and victory. You play to win but in case you lose, you learn your lessons and move on, remembering never to repeat mistakes. You always approach a game with a sporting attitude and defeats make you stronger. The older generation knows the might of West indies and if they lost the top spot it ws because the other teams started playing like the west indies of old, particularly Australia. India learnt aggression from the Aussies and so India improved and their game is far more aggressive. Srilanka and Pakistan are more emotional as players and as nations. Pakistanis are very poor losers and so are the Lankans. We celebrate our stars but when they don't perform we tear them apart but the Lankans idolize their stars and they can't accept defeat, that is why the emotional break down. People who play games and sports understand that is is after all a game where as the people who don't play but only watch the game do not understand the game well and take losses very personally and so you see these sorry decisions to end their precious lives. Life is too precious to be lost in such frivolous manner.

That's true. I was always on my school track team and not every time I came home with a medal. I never felt the urge to hurt anyone or my self because of lost. I guess sme people do not value their lives as much as others.
