Hostile cat takeover

My husband has been wanting a recliner for awhile, so he finally bought one, and our cats sleep in it all the time. If he finds it empty and sits down, they will sit around and stare at him like he is in their place. I tease him that he bought a really expensive cat bed.

Thanks a ton for sharing the discussion. Well to hear about the recliner for the cat and i am sure it must be enjoying sleeping and relaxing there all the time. It was very funny to hear about your husband sitting over there, the cat must have looked at him in anger, disgust and jealousy for taking away that seat from her. He he. It indeed is an expensive cat bed. Ha ha.

I'm afraid we spoil our cats rotten, or they wouldn't try to take over so quickly when we bring in something new.

Thanks a ton for your response again. Ha ha ha. That's true, i think nothing is being done deliberately to overpower the cat i think your husband did it like that only. But u should make sure that this does not happen again, otherwise the cat would certainly take revenge on u guys. He he he.

Cats want to rule the world one house at a time.
Just kidding, but pets do seem to find the most comfortable seat and claim it, since they spend a lot of time at home they know where to get the coolest places in summer and warmest in winter so it is not surprising they have claimed the recliner. Probably the most comfortable seat in the house.

That's right. Sometimes 2 of them curl up together in it and sleep all day.

We kind of spoil our cats rotten, but they give us a lot of enjoyment.
