Are you open with dating or a relationship with someone who you met in cyber world, internet world? Would this relationship last?

in the past I have some experience to date with my online friend. sometimes it would be funny if we can interact each other, but most of them ended disappointed. it is because sometimes person would have a different character when they were in cyber world and when they were in real life. also sometimes we have high expectation about our cyber friend, when met, it can be out of expectation. I never deal with it anymore..

There are so many fake in cyber also , some would be there for financial reasons , so precautions muse be observed, don't trust so easily and protect yourself. Be sensitive if he is real , moral and honest , two weeks of communication might be enough to tell if he's truthful or not.

In and out of the internet , i believed relationship depends on two individuals. If they get along well , if understanding is existing between the two and if trusts and respect is present in both. Also , the important thing is both must have same interest , this will make relationship burning !

yeah it's alright meeting in cyber world then in real life but how about relationship through cyber world and no meeting in real world.

My husband and I met in a chatroom. We have been together 8 years and married for 7 years so yes I know it can last! We have been through MANY tough things and overcame them all. =) We are still so in love and going strong so it can happen if its meant to be.

They say that nowadays, 1 in 3 relationships are started online. I met my husband online and we have been together for almost 10 years now, married for two, so yes it can work and it can last. People are so wired these days that meeting someone online is just the same as meeting someone anywhere else.

You said it very rightly , even this is so convenient because you don't have to cross the street and have a date , right straight from your house you can have a date with him , you can communicate same as facing each other.

I remember I once also seek in internet whether i could find someone for my match through cyber world. but i quit. I think we can also met someone really good on internet. Such relationship lasts or not depends upon the further meeting and dating procedure...and what kind of people they are.

Well, personally, the majority of my relationships have started through the online world. Some lasting 1 date, others lasting 3 years. I like starting them up online, because you can really get to know the person right from the beginning, where meeting them in person to start is often filled with unknowns. Another great thing, is you can meet people that you just would not have met at all in the real world. A girl who is now a best friend of mine, I met online and we dated for 3 months. I would have never even seen her, let alone met her or got to know her, if it wasn't for the online world.

I have read few discussion and responses about this subject.
Some responses are positive and some are negative.
I assume that, some find their luck while others dont.
Therefore, cyber love exists but only a few find the right person.
