Most of the singing reality show winners failing to make it big..

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Yes u are absolutely right, even i think most of the votes given are either from the same family or either sympathy votes. There has been many occasions when the singer is not singing that properly but still that person is able to garner lots many votes in his or her favor and in case he is the winner, he is no where to be seen after wards. Unless and until u do not struggle in this industry, no body would care for u no matter how talented u are. What say?

Yes u are very much correct, it also happens that sometimes a contestant's good looks and mass appeal gets him a lot of votes from the public and they are always on the safer side whether they sing properly or not and this is totally unfair for those who are talented enough but are getting less votes. Yes there is a 1 year contract for the winner with the show to have their album but that too gets released after a year or a two. If they do not struggle then who will remember them, no body will come to them and take them to the top. What say?

There was also another story about singing contest here in my country, about 8 years ago. There was a man, a handsome man to be certain, became the finalist of the show. Since it was top 6 or top 5, all of the judges agree that he was the one who going home. But in fact, his handsomeness brought him to be the runner up. And today, he is rarely showed on TV. He acted in some movies, and only had one or two music albums. Since he was the runner up of a singing contest (8 years ago), I think he should have more music albums than movies, shouldn't he? Yeah, I think it depends on the winners themselves whether or not they can survive in the entertainment industry, which I heard it is very hard to do. But, I heard that the new winners has a contract with the contest-maker or someone from the television before they can struggle themselves in the industry. So, how about that? If the manager or the producer can't promote the singer very well, it will be unfortunate for the winner, won't it?

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well yes who better than u can tell about the reality of these reality shows as u have been to a singing reality show as u have mentioned earlier. Yes u are absolutely right, may be it is because of their lack of talent that they are fading away into the oblivion. U can see them famous on one day and the very next day their charm is already gone barring the few. Unless and until u do not struggle in this industry, no body would care for u no matter how talented u are. What say?

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Yes whatever u said was absolutely correct. Once a new series starts people starting following that series and forget whatever has happened in the past series. There is nothing better than starting from the base and going up higher with the dint of your hard work, talent and dedication and only then u will have real fans around u who would demand u to come into the industry without getting lost anywhere in the crowd.
