I am very disappointed when people react to other people's comments in discussion boards by questioning the person's intelligence, social status or educational background. Its acceptable that you dont agree with someone's opinion and tell him/her that but its rude when you have to ask them where they work, or if they have a lower/ different educational level as yours.
How about you? How do you react when you disagree on somebody else's opinion or comment in discussion boards?

I have received a few of these and while I admit that it pissed me off, I just do not say anything at all. I believe that I don't have to prove myself to anyone, much less to those people who are closed-minded because no amount of explanation from my part will make them see otherwise. I just don't let their comments get to me and I don't think it too personally. I just have confidence in what I believe and my faith; if they can't accept the fact that I have an opinion, then its their problem not mine.
