Climate Change and Health

Industrial pollution is a massive issue, and a very unhealty one as well. I do not bother about climate change, one minute scientists say "global warming" and the next minute they say "ice age". As long as nobody melts or freezes, I do not bother: BUT pollution and environmental damage are issues that needs to be stopped. Technology is only part of the solution, always remember that people run technology. There is no point having super technology, if people don't operate it right.

Yeah, i am feeling it too.. i got sick a few months back and it wasn't even rainy season yet. Sickness these days tend to last longer too, since the environment is also polluted.. it's harder to recover.

India is a big country not like my country a very small and was located in the tropical,where our climate was becoming more and humid,because of the bad effects of climate change.Most people here knows how hot and hard of being in a hot country like the Philippines and other tropical countries.Some of our country men do not know how to disposed their garbage and still practice illegal dumping just anywhere they wanted it to throw,that is why these garbage unwanted by our environment contributed a lot,with other pollutants to the severity of our climate change here.We sometimes experience harsh typhoons,soil erosion,landslide, heat waves,drought,heavy rainfalls,and many more harsh climate change reactions. Our government have given us a task to help clean our environment by cleaning our esteros,canals and other drainage systems of our cities and municipalities,to avoid having a high flash floods when a rainstorm visited our country.We have minimized the usage of plastic bags and let it be recycled to make it not be seen in a garbage can.What did your government do to help ease the effects of global warming and climate change?Please response.

I don`t know how much of the environmental changes have to do with changes due to the way humanbeings pollute and destroy the planet and how much of it will happen any way as glaciation periods and other changes did. The climate of the city where I live has changed a lot since I was a child and I am aware that most of it, if not all of it, has been due to what man has done as pollution goes.

Climate change has affected us very much. Our place which was flood free years ago is not anymore during heavy rains. More people are suffering from pulmonary diseases due to pollution. And these are due to man's abuse of nature that even up to now despite these calamities still has the "couldn't are less" attitude.
