I never felt comfortable lying to the kids so I haven't. Somehow they still believed as of last year. I was o.k. with it as long as I had been honest. This year they don't believe anymore. My 10 yo dd is planning to be Santa, lol. She got up before I had put out easter baskets this year and I asked her if she wanted to be the easter rabbit. She did and now I guess she thinks she is going to take care of all such biz. The kids know there isn't a tooth fairy either. That is mainly due to the fact that I couldn't seem to remember to put the money under the pillow after they were sleeping and before they woke up. I guess I am just no fun, lol.

That is because our oldest sister got all the fun genes. Thankfully, you can learn to be fun. My 18yod says i'm more fun now than I used to be.

No, I never told the kids that there was a santa. I do have interesting stories about this though. One Christmas Eve, I was sleeping in my sisters room and I didn't believe in Santa anymore. That night it must have snowed because I saw Rudolphs red nose go by the window. Now that I'm an adult I know it was really a snow plow... LOL. Second story, my ex-husband used to tell the kids he was Santa. They didn't believe him. His father used to tell him and his sister than he was Santa. He said he took their dog's house and turned it upside down and hitched the dog up and flew around delivering presents. They didn't believe either but it was a great story.

Well, it's hard to answer this question..lol Because as an adult, I can't say "Yes, I like Sant coming to my place." But, I do enjoy seeing the joy in my children's eyes when they wake up and discover that "Santa" left them all kinds of goodies. My oldest is 7years old and so far, still "kinda" believes in Santa, but this year, there have been many more questions about this fat man that has "Helpers" in EVERY store you visit around this time of the year. Lol
