When i was serving as full- time missionary in our church. One thing i've learned most is Which i also read in Preach my Gospel manual it says and I quote " focuses our attention on the wise use of time. It reminds me that we must set goals and learn how to master the techniques to achieve them. Mastering the techniques needed to reach our goal including becoming the master manager of our time.
We should always remember that Time is never for sale; time is a commodity that cannot, try as you may, be bought at any store for any price. Yet when time is wisely used, its value is immeasurable. On any given day we are all allocated, without cost, the same number of minutes and hours to use,and we soon learn, as the familiar hymn so carefully teaches " Times flies on wings of Lightning we cannot call it back"
With the demands made of us, we must learn to prioritize our choices to match our goals or risk exposed to the winds of procrastination and being blown from one time-wasting activity to one another.we should remember also that will Satan will attempt us to misuse our time through disguised distractions. Lets us aware of our time, we should have to evaluate and use our time wisely. do not procrastinate even our preparing to meet our God, and avoid procrastinating of our repentance we should always remember now is the time prepare.
Time marches swiftly forward to the tick of the clock. Today would be a good day. While the clock of mortality ticks, to review what we are doing to prepare to meet God. I testify that there are great rewards for those who take time in mortality to prepare for immortality and eternal life.

Hi, thanks for posting this discussion as I've learned a lot from it. I am actually guilty of this because for the past couple of months, I've been using my time for not so important things and I came to a point that even though I really have time for my ministry, I am usually take this time to just rest at home or sleep. In short, my spirituality have come to its lowest point. Although I know that I should act by now and do something about it, and I know myself that what I am doing is wrong, I am not acting upon it. I do believe that the time is too short. I hope I would really have the courage and love for God to do what is right.

Hello! Paper_Doll. Yes true sometimes we forgot anything just to pamper our self without knowing that we neglect something in our life and we come to know that we procrastinate the things that we should need to prioritize. The most important is we recognize that we need to change our mistakes we made. Thanks again

I think that is the hardest part of it, how are you going to act upon it. And later on, how are you going to maintain it. In my experience, I've already done my best to prioritized my ministry, my husband has been my inspiration for doing so. But now that he is the one causing me so much pain, I was caught in so much trouble. Still hoping I'll be able to cope up with it and get my self in order.

Yes, it of big important to devote our time and thoughts to the things that matter the most. Time is getting short for all of us no matter our age, and when we tend to allow to look at everything else, and forget what is of importance in the end we are failing ourselves as well.
For me this often means writing down and setting some goals and figuring out what is Best and you want for your life, and then go from there. If you learn to take things one day at a time being Prayerful and thankful for what is going on around you, in the end good things will always come.

I totally agree with the saying that we must devote our time to the things that matter most. There are so many things in our life that are very important, but one of the very thing that matters most is spending time on our work. If we devote our time effectively to our work, it will be well done to the full. Take care.

You are right when you say that need to make sure that you're spending your time on the right things. I have a friend who works much harder than he has to in order to try to set up his own future, but as a result of working so hard that just means that he hasn't had the time to be able to spend time with his friends and family who are enjoying themselves now. You should look towards the future certainly, but you have to be able to live in the present as well to some extent or you're just never going to be happy with things.

Hi friend, welcome to mylot. you are right i agree with you. We must organize our time and do all the important things. Every person have the same 24 hours, some persons using their time in a good manner and get benefits with it, some of them are wasting the time. We must avoid wasting the precious time and spend it in a good manner, since even a second wasted is irrecoverable.
