This photo is of Savanna my; 4 year old grand daughter. She's the one in the blue top. Her, myself, my wife, & my daughter went to a local park about a week ago for a walk. Savanna met this girl & her mother & they shared their bread so Savanna could feed the geese & ducks. Then afterwards, I taught Savanna a new phrase, "GET IN THE WATER". I had her chasing geese & ducks all over the park yelling atg them to 'GET IN THE WATER". It was funny as heck. She's learned too many phrases from me I think. What phrases have your grandkids/kids learned from you?

You are pretty ornery. I remember feeding ducks as a little kid and insisting to my dad that we were going to take one home. I am not around my grands enough to have taught them any phrases yet. However, when my niece was little I did not deliberately teach her to do this, but I would baby sit her and had a habit of calling the refrigerator the frigigator, and she caught on to that, much to my sister's dismay.

We laughed so hard at her.
She was nice in a way.
She would wait till noone else was around but us to chase them.

hi Grandpa bob, unfortunately I havent got any grandkids, but I remember the marvellous relationship I had with my grandpa, he would allow me to spend hours playing in his lean to( a conservatory in modern speak.) I remember it was big windows, wood painted green and stretched the length of the house. there was also a brilliant garden, suitable for hide and seek and setting up pretend camps. my grandpa was a very special person and i have very happy memories of him. He and my grandma(known to me as 'nanny') always welcomed me into their home. i was an only child so spent a lot of time on my own. My imaginary world was populated by brothers and sisters so as my mum always said, i was fine playing out in the garden all on my own. I think your grandchildren are very lucky to have such a great grandad!

Savanna is really getting big. As for my grandchildren, I am still not able to see them and at this point, I don't know if I want to, I am sure if my daughter is anything like her dad, they boys have a twisted perspective of who I am. :(

Im ashamed of this one. My daughter picked up lots of bad words and phrases. My daughter learned lots of stuff she shouldn't have learned. My brother always used the word faggg*ot and my daughter picked it up. Back on the early 70s I was at Montgomery Ward in the wig department. I put some on the counter so I could try them on. The sales clerk was helping me and little innocent Kim picked one of the wigs on the mannequin head and said "hmmm looks like a faggg&ot to me. I was mortified. She was only about 4 at the time.
