What are some of your favorite horror survival games?

I don't really get to play as many games as I did when I was younger anymore so I don't really know about any new games that have come out yet. One of my favorite types of video games to play were horror survival. They were good to play anytime of the year, holed up in a dark room. Wearing head phones to farther immerse yourself in the world of horror.
I used to spend my Halloween's doing this...well after I was to old to go trick or treating. Fatal frame and Juon were two of my favorites. They were both on the ps2(Ps2 is quite possibly still my favorite system).
What games is everyone else playing and what system are you playing it on?

Hmmm... I haven't really played a horror survival game before but when I saw your post, I thought of Slenderman. HAHA! ^_^ I've seen a lot of stuff about it, videos and the like... I think it's kind of cute. Maybe I'll try it out some time. :D
I have a classmate who played Juon on her PS2, saaw her games once and I asked her about it, but when I knew of the theme, I backed out. LOL I'm a scaredy cat. ^_^

I haven't played slenderman yet but I've watched videos on it lol. I love horror survival games but I'm a scaredy cat too. I like how scared I get. Games like these are just filled with those little moments that make you jump or scream involuntarily. You don't have to play them to enjoy them though. Just watching someone play a horror survival is like watching a scary movie.

My imagination usually goes into overdrive at all the wrong moments lol. Moments where I shouldn't be scared but am...and its crazy amounts of scared.

My favorite is Silent Hill 2. I also liked System Shock 2 and a little bit more action oriented F.E.A.R. Played them all on PC. Haven't had a chance to play it yet but I heard that PC game Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the scariest of all.
